A luxurious retreat deep in the furthest South West corner of France, situated between Biarritz and Dax. The apartments are located in the grounds of a 19th century chateau amidst 25 acres of gardens, with an extra large (18m x 9m) outdoor pool, shared by all the apartments. We have BBQ's, bikes and a games room for guests enjoyments as well as a selection of DVD's and books for those quieter moments. Each apartment has been tastefully decorated and equipped to a very high standard and are furnished in individual styles to suit the apartment. Each apartment has it's own private entrance & garden area with outdoor furniture. All apartments are on 2 levels. The apartments are all spacious, the smallest being 45 sq m and the largest 124 sq m. There is a choice of 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. All linen including towels but excluding beach towels is provided and we have baby equipment (cot plus bedding, highchair and pushchair) is available free of charge.

Tiffany has an open plan living dining kitchen area. The floor is tiled. The apartment is extremely light and airy and is well furnished with comfortable seating, coffee tables and lamps. The apartment is equipped with TV?DVD. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with facilities for ironing. There is a useful storage area beneath the spiral staircase which is tucked away via a door away from the living area. Upstairs there is 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. The bathroom has a full size bath with shower attachment over and wash hand basin. there is a seperate WC. There is also a secure fixed child safety gate at the top of the stairs whilst the door at the bottom of the stairs has a lock to prevent young children climbing the spiral staircase unattended.

Riviere

Riviere is a quiet village nestling on the banks of the River Adour, and sitting on the edge of Europe's largest forest The Parc national Des landes. The forest is ideal for hiking, jogging, walking and cycling. The village is in an ideal location for those who seek the tranquility of the french countryside, but also wish to be within easy reach of the coast as well as interesting towns and villages. Surrounding the village are 32,000 acres of community land just waiting to be explored, either on foot or by cycling. See how many species of birds you can identify and watch those gentle free roaming horses as they quietly follow you hoping that you are going to provide lunch. beautiful walks abound in this area including walks along the tow path, all the way into our local town of Dax if you so wish. The river runs from The Pyrenees into the Atlantic Ocean at Bayonne.
