Location is in So-Pi 's heart Rue de Rochechouart. To the North the street is cornered by the Avenue Trudaine - a really beautiful avenue with lots of flowers and trees. This avenue is considered to be amongst the nicest and certainly calmest in the whole of Paris. There are many schools and the Square d'Anvers is home of the best children's playground of the Right Bank Crossing Square d'Anvers and Boulevard de Rochechouart brings you at the Butte Montmartre. That's 5 to 10 minutes walking. The area (quartier) has seen a major change during the last 5 years. Many trendy restaurants attracted a young and wealthy clientele making the whole area very hip (très branché) and the trendy magazines found a name for it: So-Pi meaning SOuth of PIgalle. Luckily enough the old values and traditional resto's also survived which is good for your budget. Closest metro stops: Cadet and Anvers

Neighborhood
The address is Rue de Rochechouart in the 9th arrondissement. When we bought it we were looking for a neighborhood with bon rapport qualité/prix. We wanted good food shopping, good local transport, good neighborhood ambiance with squares and cafes. This neighborhood has all of that in spades. Now it¹s becoming trendy. The area ( quartier ) has seen a major change during the last 5 years. Many trendy restaurants attracted a young and wealthy clientele making the whole area very hip .
Latest feed-back
Darlene and Bob Brown - Windsor - CA We are back home after a wonderful trip. The apartment was great and the bath was fabulous! We truly lived in Paris for a week. Got up every morning about 9:30. We got ready for the day and went to the bakery about 10:30 for our croissants and then back to the corner-there is a brand new fabulous restaurant on the corner of Rochechouart and Trudaine. (Sole is the name, it is Italian, but more like a restaurant from California or London or New York) . After croissants and coffee, we would tackle one tourist attraction and then have a lovely lunch around 2:30 or 3:00 and rest and relax and enjoy. After lunch we would visit one more site and then return home (it truly felt like home and we were comfortable from the moment we got settled in). Mrs. Estevez was very nice but not too much help with the electronics. Thanks again for a truly wonderful place to stay.

Quite honestly, this apartment is dangerous. Within the first five minutes of my arrival, I felt so pampered that I did not want to leave it. I would have been perfectly content to spend the rest of my visit to the world’s most beautiful city sunk deeply in the cloud-like duvet listening to the strings of Verdi’s Four Seasons surround me as though I were in the center of a concert hall. (I could write PAGES about the sound system alone.) My daughter tolerated my self indulgence for about half an hour and then dragged me (not kicking and screaming, mind you) to the nearest patisserie for le pain au chocolate before we set out for the Magritte exhibit. (Chocolate and art…she knows what buttons to push.)
