This bright, spacious and quiet flat overlooks a courtyard and provides you with a glimpse of the Parisian rooftops that can only be seen on the top floor. Hardwood floors and half-timbered (high) ceilings tell you about the flat's era. It was fully renovated by an interior designer in July 2004, with a touch of beaux-arts paintings and stylish furniture. The kitchen is open to the living room. It features cutting edge amenities such as induction hob & top of the line microwave and electrical oven. It also includes a self-standing freezer in addition to the fridge, & an espresso coffee maker among other amenities. In the living room, 2 sofa beds (futons) can accommodate 3 youngsters. The bedroom has a queen sized bed comfortably sleeping 2 adults. It is en suite with a full bathroom (very spacious by Parisian standards) with a large tub with a shower, a separate washer and dryer. The flat is also conveniently fitted with not one but two toilet facilities and a walk-in dressing room.

The apartment is located on rue des abbesses at a minute walk from the Abbesses Metro Station. This is at the footsteps of the Sacré-Coeur basilica.This is one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Paris. Fresh deli markets and bakeries, numerous indoors/outdoors cafés and restaurants, bookstores, art galleries and museums, live theaters and fashion boutiques, are all at your feet. It is also at walking distance to Picasso’s “Bateau Lavoir” and many other famous Montmartre’s landmarks such as 'Le Moulin de la Galette' and 'Le Moulin Rouge'. Notes to the rental rates

  • A 50 Euros fee is charged to cover final cleaning. Security deposit: 350 Euros.
    For more than a 2 week stay, rates are negotiable. In that case, electricity (based on actual consumption) has to be paid in addition to rental fees final cleaning fees.
    Monthly Rate: 1500 Euros plus electricity (based on actual consumption). Maximum stay: 3 months/contract. Can be extended by signing a new contract.
    Checking in time: 3:00 PM
    Checking-out time: 10:00 AM
    No arrivals on Sundays.
  • To book the apartment an initial payment of 20% is required. To confirm reservation, another 30% is requested at contract signing. The balance is due no later than one month ahead of checking-in date.
    Various payment methods are accepted, but payment through the owner's PayPal account is highly recommended.
    Security deposit: 350 Euros upon arrival.

There is a POSSIBLE EXTENSION to a studio (same building, same floor, facing the one bedroom flat). Sleeping Accommodation

The bedroom with the en suite bathroom has a queen size bed comfortably sleeping two weary adults. You will find as well plenty of space in a separate dressing room to put away your belongings and to settle in. In the living room there are 2 sofa beds (one double, one single) that may sleep 3 people. However, the use of sofa beds is strictly limited to youngsters and on the overall, the occupation of the flat must not exceed two adults and three kids/teenagers.

Amenities

In the bathroom you will find separate washer and dryer units, and a large tub with a shower. A 'cuisine Americaine' (open kitchen) with cutting edge amenities such as induction hob and top of the line microwave and electrical oven, allows you to be part of the conversation rather than being shut off while you create culinary delights or just reheat some take-out. The kitchenette also includes a fridge, a self-standing freezer, and an espresso coffee maker. You are not lacking in amenities in this apartment as much thought has gone into both the decor and the comfort level. Unwind after a long day of site seeing by watching the large screen TV featuring the major English speaking channels. The DVD player is multi standard and has no zone restriction.

Valet Luggage Service Available

The apartment is located on the 6th floor (7th floor to North Americans) without elevator. A valet luggage service is available upon advanced request to help you with your bags up and down the steps for your arrival and departure. You will find ample tourist information in the many city guides and art books on Montmartre and Paris. All in all this apartment is a “can't be missed” delight in a city and a vibrant local community with so much to offer.

Other Activities Sightseeing, shopping, going from one cafe to another, live theaters, Musicals (Mouiin Rouge), Dining in one of the numerous local restaurants, etc.
