Montmartre is one of the most magical areas of Paris, a true village with real inhabitants and also a multitude of famous landmarks. It's a wonderful area to explore on foot - wander through its cobbled streets, check out the quirky shops, sip hot chocolate in a cafe, enjoy a glass of wine and sample traditional French cuisine in the many excellent restaurants. Go on your own cultural tour and see why Montmartre has been celebrated by so many artists, including Van Gogh, Picasso, Renoir, Toulouse Lautrec and Modigliani. The apartment is on a quiet stretch of the rue Lepic. Within a couple of minutes walk you have the famous artists' square the Place du Tertre; the Sacre Coeur Basilica; Montmartre's windmills and all the sights made familiar by the film 'Amelie'. Montmartre is a vibrant village within the city. While it is a draw for tourists, it is also home to thousands of Parisians, many of whom have been Montmartrois for generations. It's also the highest quartier of Paris.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. We loved exploring the area and kept finding new streets and delightful corners each time we went out. Shirley & Sean, Chelmsford, England/ We just loved Paris; and Romantic Monmartre was a perfect base from which to explore. Set away from the hordes of tourists flocking to the Sacre Coeur, the apartment is on a quiet, cobbled street and provides a real slice of Paris life. The Reubens and Ross, Bucks, UK and NZ/ Lovely apartment, especially enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. Great welcome too. Thank you so much. Ingrid & Jonny; England / This really is what you imagine a romantic apartment in Paris to be, but so few actually are. Highly recommended! Brenda, Dublin, Ireland / Our family of four were absolutely delighted with the charming, fresh and comfortable Romantic Montmartre apartment, with its treetop outlook front and rear. It could not have been better. We will be back! Francisca, Perth, Australia.
