Fabulous two bedroom, two bath (one en-suite), elegantly furnished and architect designed Paris home of two globe-trotting journalists. 94 sq.m European fourth floor with elevator in 18th-Century recently renovated building. Mix of contemporary chic with the charm of old-fashioned Europe. Perfect for couples traveling together, or a family group. Very bright, spacious open plan living/dining room/kitchen, floor to ceiling doors open onto flowering balconies. Located between the Opera and the Louvre, steps from the Palais Royal, in the very heart of Paris. Kitchen has granite/stainless steel work surfaces, gas range, dishwasher, fully equipped. Dining table extends to seat 8. Flat screen TV, leather club chairs, cream sofa--mix of antique and contemporary. Both bedrooms face onto quiet courtyard. Master has large leather double bed, wall of closets. Second bedroom, large double bed, limestone clad bathroom. Study has pull out double sofa bed, sliding pocket doors provide privacy.

We had a fantastic family trip to Paris staying in this apartment.

The pictures on the website probably do not do the apartment justice. It was very relaxing after a long days walk around Paris and was ideally situated very close to the metro, restaurants and many of Paris' favourite tourist attractions. For breakfast a quick trip across the road for croissants and fresh bread really set you up for the day.

My only comment is look out for the lift. We were travelling with grandparents and if the lift is out of order there are many stairs to climb!

The organisation the owners have in place to "meet and greet" you is excellent and we felt very looked after.

A very memorable holiday.
