Lovely, clean apartment in a great location

We stayed in the apartment at the end of October 2009.
The first thing that struck me was how clean it was, everything was spotless.
The street the apartment was on, Rue du Caire, was very quiet after about 7pm as it comprised mainly of clothes shops and we barely heard any of the other occupants in other apartments.
The bed was very comfortable with a hard matress however the pillows weren't the best so if you can bring your own I would recommend it. The flat screen TV in the fireplace was great and there was a good selection of channels via the Freebox as well as a DVD player with some DVDs and a hi-fi system. Fast, free wi-fi was also available in the apartment.
The kitchen had a toaster, kettle, hob and oven and loads of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There was also a full-size iron and a table top ironing board which came in very handy.
Nearby were 3 metro stations, Sentier, Strasbourg and Reamur Sebastopol all within about 5 minutes walking distance. There were also a number of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.
The only downside to the apartment was the bathroom, which was very small however there was plenty of hot water and it was fine for our 5 day stay.
I would also like to thank Greg, the owner of the apartment, who had come round to replace a faulty bulb in the bathroom and had bought us a nice bottle of wine to apologise for the inconvenience!
I would recommend the apartment for couples however four adults may find that there is not enough space although the sofa bed would be ideal for a child or someone in their early teens.
I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Paris.
