The large new flat is located in the Bastille Marais area. It has been fully renovated in February 2007. The flat is very quiet and very bright, overlooking the courtyard. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, food shops and supermarkets in the area. This brand new flat is located inside Paris, very near the Bastille – Marais areas. Bastille and Marais are located only 5 minutes by walk. The flat has easy connections with the major tourists attractions such as the Louvre Museum and Notre Dame (10 minutes), Champs Elysées (20 minutes). It can be reach easily by every airports and train stations. The flat is very quiet overlooking a courtyard. The flat is very bright.

    For the cleaning when you leave, you have two solutions:
    Either you do it completely before you leave, or I order a specialised company to do it and it is 25 euros (please inform me with your booking). You should vacuum and mop the floor, wipe the tables, chairs and kitchen, clean the basin, the toilets and the shower cabin, empty the fridge and clean it, clean inside the oven, take out the garbage and put it in the garbage-bins in the yard.
    Please notice that an invoice of 50 euros will be send to you if the cleaning is not done after you left the place.

Perfect Parisian Break

Very easy to deal with David at CentreParis - although the key pick-up process sounded complicated, it was actually very easy! Location is fantastic, on a very lively entertainment street and close to Bastille Metro, supermarkets for self-catering and internet cafes. Apartment is quiet and airy and overlooks a lovely courtyard with friendly neighbours, it has a huge bedroom (bigger than most Parisian hotel rooms) and has everything you will need for a great break in Paris (the washer-dryer is a real time saver). We felt really at home there during our two week stay and wished we could have stayed longer!

One week April 2009

We have just arrived home. We have been four people in the apartment and it has been in general good. The place is perfect close to restaurants, bars, metro station.

We have only found a "but" in this apartment. The cleaning is really poor and the floor is not in very good conditions which gives a poor image of the apartment.

good property but potentially flaky owner

The flat is very nice and if I was rating the property itself I would have rented this property as excellent. One drawback may be that it is on the 5th floor of a house with no elevator so getting there with a suitcase is not easy. But it is a nice flat with a lot of light. We rented it twice and everything was fine the first time, we were very happy.
The second time was a disaster however. When we called the owner 3 days before arrival to confirm how to pick up the keys we were notified that something went wrong with water supply and the flat was uninhabitable. So we had to find an affordable alternative on 3 days notice around the Easter break.

I think it's a mistake.

The flat is located on the 3rd floor not the 5th...

If we have a problem regarding the flat and if it's not rentable, we always find another alternative and never let people manage themselves.

Great Place to stay

This appartment was characterful and offered us a charming French experience. It was in a busy, interesting part of Paris with great access to the Metro. The area is full of restaurants, delicatessens and bakeries. The people in these places were helpful and friendly. The apartment was big enough for us (4 adults) as a base for a 4 day visit to Paris. It was warm and well equipped, safe and picturesque. Arrangements for collection of key were as clear as possible and although a little time consuming easily done. We had a great stay.

Great place to stay...

This property was exactly as described, and had everything we needed - more, in fact. It was evident that the property had been recently refurbished, as virtually everything was new and clean! Despite being in the busy Bastille area, this apartment was very quiet - no noise to keep you awake at night! There are lots of superb food shops and restaurants nearby, and there are two metro stations within 5 minutes of the apartment.

We have an eight-year-old son and this property with its Parisian charm was just the thing - much better than just a hotel room. We would not hesitate to return in the future. David, who handled the booking, was helpful and efficient, and we had a wonderful time.
