Only 50 meters from the “Jardin des Tuileries”, 250 meters from the Louvre and 5 minutes walk from the Seine or from the stylish shops of the “rue saint-honoré”, the studio is on the top floor (with a lift) of a typical Parisian building. It includes a sleeping area, a bathroom (with a proper bath), a lounge and kitchen leading to the terrace, where in the background you can see both the Eiffel tower and the Sacré-Coeur. Total floor area is 25 sq m² (260 sq ft). It is very bright & quiet, and offers all of the modern conveniences, microwave, washing machine, computer with DVD & fast Internet connection, also free use of the telephone.

Location, location, location!

This studio was the perfect size for our family -- two adults and a four year old -- during our Parisian vacation. The property details are all accurate and the owner was friendly and extremely helpful, providing a detailed map to local grocery stores, shops, and points of interest. He even arranged a taxi pick up for us on our return trip to the airport.

Though the building does have an elevator to the 5th floor, travellers should be aware that there is a tight, narrow stairway that must be navigated to reach the 6th floor apartment. Might be difficult for guests of certain ages or physical conditions, although we had guests in their 60s who ably handled the stairs.

As mentioned in the listing, the studio is minutes away frolm the Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, the Seine, and a Metro station. The city is incredibly accessible from the studio. You walk out the front door and you're immediately centrally located in Paris.

When enjoying the studio's deck on the 6th Floor, guests have a partial view of the Eiffel Tower in one direction, Montmartre in another direction, and the tops of other various monuments and notable architecture.

Guests may also want to be aware that a slanted ceiling in the bathroom just above the toilet might require a bit of improvisation, but nothing insurmountable.

Overall, this studio was terrific and perfect for what our small family was looking for, particularly on a budget. If we're fortunate enough to return to Paris, we'd definitely return to this apartment as well. Recommended.

Nagged and nagged JP to get this apartment based on its reviews and location. We werent disappointed!! Everything you need is here and we really appreciated the information package and the free internet connection. We were even able to ring home for our daughters birthday from the apartment.
Location is so very central, we walked everywhere from here, but could get out on to the rooftop terrace for a wine and nibbles and it was quiet and peaceful.We enjoyed watching the Eiffel tower lightshow from the terrace and also being so close to the Jardin.Highly recommend this one.

The main thing about this property is the excellent location for central Paris. Also the property is quiet and has a lovely terrace, both rare in such a location. The owner was very helpful, we stayed here with our grown up daughter and it was fine for 3 of us, as long as you don't mind lack of privacy.The only drawbacks we found was the lack of kitchen equipment, as we wanted to cook in the flat sometimes,as Paris is now very expensive because of the Euro/Pound rate, and the sofa bed is uncomfortable unless only there for a couple of nights. It is certainly quaint and you feel like a real Parisienne!

Affortable, wonderful location in the center of the city. All you need is there. Roofterras is an absolute plus. Friendly and helpful owner is another plus. Fast computer with all the information you need.
I had a good time there and will certainly go back.

We have stayed stayed in this apartment three times to date (Aug 2006, Aug & Sept 2008) and are already booked to stay again in Feb 2009 and we'll probably be back in July or August. The appartment couldn't be more central, with the Tuileries and the Louvre on your doorstep and with good restaurants and supermarkets immediately nearby. The area is very safe. You're on the seventh floor, so either expect to get very fit on those stairs or, if you are guilt free from all that good food, you can take the two person lift. The rooftop terrace is ideal for sitting outside and relaxing with the Eiffel tower and Sacré-Coeur lit up over the rooftops of Paris in the background. Internet access and free internet phone calls are a real bonus. JP, the owner, is the ideal host should you encounter any problems or need any advice.
