Pretty good

The photos make the Duplex look a little nicer and in better repair than it actually is. There were bits of exposed wires in the kitchen (high up, so no danger) and the plaster/drywall was not quite finished in many spots. It looked like it had been repaired somewhat shoddily and not cosmetically finished. However, everything worked fine. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The beds were very comfortable, including the sleigh bed that was really good only for a small adult or child under 5 feet tall. It was quite spacious for Paris and it was nice to have shared use of the outdoor courtyard. It's a good location with restaurants, bakeries, the metro, Sacre Coeur etc nearby, and I appreciated the thick file that was available, including maps, tour books, Paris guides and suggestions for where to eat and what to do. My main complaint was that I had a strong hayfever-like reaction in the living room, especially when I opened the wall unit that houses the TV, in the living room. Other members of the group did not have any reaction, even those who are normally sensitive to the environment than me! I wondered if there was dampness and possibly mould. Overall, it's not a bad place, but I would not necessarily go back.
