Bateau Lavoir Balcony over Paris n° 3/1 Right on top of the Montmartre hill, this superb luxury flat has breathtaking views of Paris and enjoys a unique position right on top of Montmartre hill, the north facing side of the apartment is on the third floor opening on the small garden of Place Jean Baptiste Clement and just 300 meters from Place du Tertre the famous painter's Meanwhile the south side of the flat is on the 9th floor gazing across Paris. The house is a family private house with antiques and engraving in the staircase, and owner is living in. The flat is sunny and bright, and has been newly decorated throughout with fresh modern furnishing. From its position this flat is perfectly situated for exploring right or left bank, Metro will reach in 20 minutes both directions. Montmartre area seduces every year 9 millions people enjoying the position and its for its village life, with 40 restaurants around, theaters, shops, dozen of terraces for lunch or dinner..

On the south, large living room with a double sofa bed, a large sofa and 2 windows opening into Paris and a dining corner. The apartment is nicely furnished with a combination of modern and antique pieces. TV. Hi-fi. Telephone on request in the living room and in the bedroom

Uniquely positioned right on the top of Montmatrre hill these superb luxury apartments offer breathtaking views of Paris from the south facing side whilst the north side opens onto a small garden of Place Jean Baptiste Clement, just 300 meters from Place du Tertre. The apartments have been recently renovated with fresh modern furnishings and are fitted with modern and antique furniture.They are perfectly situated for exploring the whole of Paris as the metro reaches the two sides in just 20 mins. In front of the house a bus station is plying to place banche and PlacePigale. The metro station in Abbesses - 2 minutes from your flat. Parking is on the street with parkmeters. Numerous shops and restaurants are in the area, Place du Tertre is a must to look at but cheapest and best restaurants will be lower at 2 minutes, french, italian, chinese, japanese, indian...and others will be open up to 12 oclock, midnight.

Te other way to come , you take a bus airfrance one and will stop at gare des invalides, from where a cabor metro will take you to Montmartre directly.
    We are sure you will enjoy the roof of Paris with our superb view and our calm position.
    THe house is just in front of the charming square Place Jean Batiste Clement, lovely garden with lot of trees and in spring rose canopy will stay for three weeks.THis place is opening to Place du Tertre the famous painter square, with platans trees, lot of dining corners and tables and dozens of artistes waiting for a visit.
    The walk is worth acoofee in that sqare but if you00 meters down the flat will offer an in ternational list of really good restaurants. want a good food place des abesses a 2

Montmartre apartment - rue Ravignan

My husband and I stayed for a week in the apartment and had a great time. The apartment is well described by the owner with high standard fittings. It is on the second floor of the apartment block but has the sort of view you'd expect from a much higher property - breathtaking! The kitchen is small but perfect for a tourist stay with all of the features that you need; the bathroom reminiscent of a 4 star hotel. It is near a bustling area but is quiet and tranquil - you see tourists but also locals going about their business, taking children to school as well as going off to work.

The nearest metro is about 5 minutes away and an easy journey from Gare du Nord and the centre of Paris - the walk from the metro to the apartment is (very!) uphill so be prepared. Rue de Abbesses which runs along from the metro station has all the shops you will need - baker, laundry, fruiterer etc and some very good and reasonably priced restaurants - eat here rather than near Sacre Coeur or in the tourist haunts in the centre of Paris. There are also some lovely boutiques and jewellers and a whole day in the area around the flat would be very easy. It's an area where history is all around you.

I would and have recommended the property to a friend and we would like to come back here the next time we visit Paris which is so easy now that Eurostar operates from St Pancras!

So if you aren't put off by hills, love a good view and excellent food on your doorstep then this is for you. The Montmatre bus goes past the door for those who don't like an uphill walk but I think it's part of the charm!
