Apartment A10 Arranged over 2 floors, sleeping to 9 people, in extremely spacious split level living. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen and dining area, 2 bedrooms and a family bathroom with washing machine. Leading off the dining area is a large balcony stretching the entire length of the apartment. The stairs lead up to a stunning lounge area with plenty of seating including a double sofa bed. There is a flat screen TV, with DVD player, DVD's, Playstation 2 with plenty of games and a beautiful view. Another balcony leads off the living area. Also on this level is the 3rd bedroom which is a twin/triple and a further wc and shower room.

This spectacular ski and summer resort is protected and hence hasn’t been spoilt by tourism. Samoens has been awarded a ‘Coq d’Or’ for being one of the prettiest villages in France and is the only ski resort classified by the Caisse des Monuments Historiques. The villages are full of character and charm with quaint streets, yet still provides the centre for almost every outdoor activity imaginable. Based in the beautiful valley of the Giffre river, the area provides spectacular scenery including mountain lakes, national parks and botanical gardens plus amazing wildlife and just minutes up the road at Sixt Fer a Cheval are over a dozen enormous waterfalls. It has a great deal to offer for families and individuals of all ages seeking adventure or alternatively just sheer relaxation. Skiing Information:

The apartment is perfectly situated for your skiing holiday. All equipment can be hired from the sports shop opposite and ski school etc booked. The resort is linked to the massive Grand Massif (with Les Carroz, Morillon and Flaine) and provides extensive skiing for all levels with virtually no queues. Not many places offer such a wide variety of skiing, and very few have such fantastic panoramic views over Mont-Blanc. There is an excellent nursery slope area at Samoens 1600, in fact now the biggest beginners’ area in the Haute Savoie. For the more advanced there is also a testing terrain. The steep north-facing mogul slopes from the Tête des Saix,the central point of the entire Grand Massif system, down to Samoëns are particularly enjoyable. Intermediate and more advanced skiers and boarders will enjoy the 49 red pistes and 12 black pistes of the Grand Massif. Since Winter 2003/04, there is a new fast (8 min), high capacity gondola from opposite the apartment accessing 265km of pistes.
