The studio is set in a beautiful and well maintained private woodland estate, which leads onto a picturesque beach. Situated on the second floor (top), the studio provides comfortable living space but perhaps it's outstanding feature is the good-sized balcony - sunny, south facing but secluded, looking onto woodland. The accommodation comprises a principle room furnished with a 'clic-clac' style sofa bed, two easy chairs (convertible), dining table and chairs, colour TV/DVD (French stations) and a Radio/Cassette/CD player. Sliding patio doors open onto the balcony with table and chairs for outside dining. The separate kitchen, which also has a door to the balcony, has a hob, 'combi' microwave/grill/oven, fridge and ample crockery, cutlery and cookware etc. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and hand basin. Separate toilet. The apartment is all electric and has electric wall-mounted heaters throughout. Bicycles are provided for guests to use.

The tranquil residence of Parc de la Grange is situated on the edge of Jard sur Mer, just 18kms south of Les Sables d'Olonne. The 50 acres of grounds reach down to a picturesque sandy beach which extends along the coast to the village and resort of Jard sur Mer. Low tide reveals rock pools and it is then possible to walk in the other direction, past a series of small coves, to Plage des Mines, a vast beach with café and lifeguard in high season. The area around Jard sur Mer is famous for retaining its unspoilt natural beauty and the nearby 'Marais' is a haven for wildlife. The Marais and river Payre are home to oyster and salt beds and opens to the sea at Point du Payré in a beautiful swirl of sea, sand and pine woods. Jard sur Mer is a busy seaside village with plenty of bars, restaurants, weekly market (Monday mornings) and occaissional live entertainment at the marina in high season. Les Sables d'Olonne and Les Tranche sur Mer are both about 15 mins drive
