This new, natural looking chalet has been constructed using chunky logs and look like it has just emerged from the forest that’s, behind it. In exceptional surroundings with panoramic views of the mountain ranges that surround the Chamonix valley Ski to the slopes or back to your front door, have a cup of tea sitting out on the terrace and go back to ski again. Enjoy it! The owners have lovingly created their dream chalet using old recycled and reclaimed wood, reminiscent of sun bleached driftwood – interesting and original pieces that give the chalet its quirky character. Their artistic use of materials and choice of furnishings creates a unique atmosphere- warm cosy rooms and unusual living spaces. The alliance between wood, metal, plaster, stone, glass and crisp cotton linen blend beautifully to create a sophisticated, tasteful interior. If you are looking for a chalet with true rustic character, luxury and comfort you need look no further.

My family and I stayed in L'Hacienda 4 weeks ago and we have really enjoyed our stay. Marc's homepage was very good in describing the house. The house was clean and in good condition. It was an old house with lots of charm and a completely original interior. Marc was good to guide us in the sights, which was worth seeing. I would recommend this place to a friend anytime. Houches (the town) lies quite high in the mountains so the temperature could rise a few degrees when driving down the mountains. We can recommend a nature reserve with animals located on a mountain where you have a wonderful view over Mont Blanc. And also to take a gondola up the mountains and walk around. It's amazing, specially when you come from a flat country like Denmark
