Chalet Desgranges is situated in St Jean de Sixt, 1 mile from the nearest ski slopes in La Clusaz. The nearest shops and amenities. The chalet was built in 2006 in the traditional Savoyard style, is modern, bright, tranquil and very comfortable. It overlooks alpine pastures to the front of the property, where cows graze in the summer months – and up into the Aravis mountains. The balconies/terrace are all South West facing, so enjoy extended hours of sunshine. The chalet is furnished to a high standard, with sleeping accommodation for 10 people – 2 double bedrooms, 2 twins and a bunk room which is suitable for 2 adults. It has ample bathroom facilities with 2 shower rooms (one with toilet), one family bathroom (with bath and shower) and one upstairs toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer, with washing and drying facilities available. The living room has TV with satellite, DVD and a hi-fi system with doors opening onto a large terrace.

St Jean de Sixt is a charming, picturesque alpine town, nestled in the Aravis valley, in the North of the Alps, a mere 2km away from the popular and traditional ski resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. St Jean de Sixt is a convenient base from which to explore and experience all that the Haute Savoie/Aravis region has to offer. In the summer and winter seasons, there is plenty to occupy everyone, including the non-skiers. A 50 minute drive from Geneva airport, makes St Jean an excellent location for weekends away and longer breaks. La Clusaz offers a ride range of skiing to suit all abilities from beginners to advanced, with its 132km of slopes spread over 5 interlinked mountains including Beauregard, L’Aguille and La Balme. An Aravis pass will enable you to also ski Le Grand Bornand – adding a further 225km of runs to your skiing enjoyment. A shuttle bus runs between the resorts, linking them in only 10 minutes.
