A delightful Manor House furnished to a very high standard and set in 7 acres of gardens, surrounded by vines and open countryside. Quiet and secluded but within easy reach of the village. The Bar Area is a lovely building which used to be the bakery at Le Moulin has been converted into a bar with pool table for exclusive use by the guests of Les Agrilles. Ideal for use with the stone built barbeque. Le Moulin is a beautiful Maison de Maitre, which has been furnished to a very high standard, making it into a comfortable family home. Le Moulin is quiet and secluded but within easy reach of the village and other amenities. It is surrounded by open fields of vines and has views of the Gironde, The property has all the creature comforts that you would expect to find in a quality family house. The spacious accommodation sleeps 15 in 4 double, 3 twin and one single bedroom. Four of the double rooms are ensuite. There is a further bathroom and a WC on the ground floor. The house is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday. Close to the Gironde estuary with its pretty ports and inviting restaurants. Port Maubert and its lovely restaurant by the river are only 4 kms away. The beaches of Merchers and St George de Didonne are only 20 minutes away. This beautiful house in the Charente Maritime is within easy reach of the A10 Paris/Bordeaux motorway. It is also one hour from Bordeaux and 1 ½ hours from La Rochelle International Airports. The port of St Malo is only about 4 ½ hour drive away. The Charente has the second highest number of sunshine hours in France ( after Cote d'Azur) with temperatures reaching the high 30's in July and August. Charente Maritime has a mild temperate climate thanks to the Gulf Stream, which embraces the coastline. With only a 15 minute ferry trip across the Gironde from Blaye you will find your self in the Medoc, where you can visit renowned Chateaux and savor the delicious world famous wines of the region.

Le Moulin des Agrilles is a beautiful Maison de Maitre, not quite a chateau but has the feel of a very grand house. It is rented out during July and August with exclusive use of the pool. At other time of the year if there are guests staying at La Conciergerie they may also use the pool. However if you request exclusive use this may be arranged please make sure that you contact Josette regarding this on booking. La Conciergerie may also be booked in conjunction with Les Agrilles making the whole property able to sleep 20 in style and comfort. Self catering at its very best.
