Three traditional farm cottages with private terraces and gardens and use of shared 10 x 5 metre swimming pool. The cottages are surrounded by fields of sunflowers and corn, but are within 20 minutes drive of the coast. Each cottage is fully equipped for year-round holidays. Marie-Clare sleeps 4 + baby in two bedrooms, with large family bathroom (bath & shower) and living/dining/kitchen. Rosalinde sleeps 6 + baby in 3 bedrooms, with bathroom and shower room and large living/dining/kitchen. Janine sleeps 5 + baby in two bedrooms, with large family bathroom (bath and shower) and living/dining/kitchen. All 3 cottages can be booked together for family reunions, or a holiday for friends. Total capacity 17 people.

A recently (2005) renovated traditional cottage set in 3 acres of grounds. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower and a large (35 m2) open plan living/dining/kitchen on the ground floor. French doors lead out to a private, enclosed terrace and on up to your private garden area. The garden opens onto the communal grounds where you will find a large play area for the kids (swings, climbing ropes etc.) and a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool with a large sun terrace.

Other attractions within one hour include La Rochelle, Saintes, Rochefort, Cognac, Poitiers, Niort, Royan. The Marais Poitevin (Venise Vert) is within easy reach and provides a wonderful contrast to a day at the seaside. For water-sports enthusiasts, you can enjoy sailing, wind-surfing, kite-surfing and land-yachting on the coast nearby. You can also enjoy fishing and boating on the Rivers Boutonne and Charente and the local lakes. This is a good area for cycling, and bicycles can be hired nearby. 3 Golf courses within 40 minutes. Futuroscope theme park just over 1 hour away. Puy du Fou just under 2 hours.

Guests can enjoy free-range eggs from our hens, ducks, quail and geese and organic vegetables and fruit grown on site (according to the season). Each cottage garden has its own cherry tree, strawberry plants and herb garden.

The children (and adults!) can help collect the eggs, pick the fruit and vegetables and look after the pet pot-bellied pig!
