Three luxurious cottages with 4-star rating, in 5 acres gently sloping down to the shaded Trout stream. Relax in our 11.5m pool or try the sun loungers in the shaded veranda. Revitalised, try your hand at boules, pool, or an informal game of badminton or table tennis. Energetic? Then kick a ball about or maybe a gentle walk or cycle through the country lanes. Tennis in the village, golf only 45 mins away, beaches, leisure lake and other attractions a day out. Each “Grange” has a double and a twin bedroom. “L’Ecurie” has a double, a triple and a double with a single bed. All 3 cottages have a bathroom and a shower room, dining tables and lounges with ample seating (plus double sofa bed), satellite TV, DVD and CD players and UK sockets. Each has a fully equipped fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. Outside each has it’s own furnished private patio and, of course, a BBQ for those lazy evenings. Don’t want to cook? Then try a local restaurant.

With a ground floor area of 99 square metres, L’Ecurie offers a spacious holiday home for 8 to 10 people, plus room for a couple of cots. There are 3 bedrooms, each over 12 square metres in area. On the ground floor there is a large bedroom with a double and a single bed, and a Bathroom with WC, vanity unit, heated towel rail, hair-dryer and shaver point. The dining room has a modern dining table and 10 chairs. In the lounge there are three large settees, a double sofa bed, TV with DVD player. The fully fitted kitchen has a Gas Hob, Electric Oven, Dishwasher & Microwave, large Fridge-Freezer and the usual small appliances. Outside there is a private patio with a 10-seater table, umbrella and a gas fired BBQ. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a double and a three-bedded room. There is also a shower room, with WC, heated towel-rail, hair-dryer and shaver point. There is an additional quiet seating area on the wide galleried landing.

Fishing

The property slopes down to the River Berlande, a healthy Trout stream shaded by trees. Day or Fortnight fishing permits can be purchased locally, which provide access to it and to most of the rivers and lakes in western France. There are also several well-stocked private fishing lakes where 'Guest Tickets' can be bought, all within an easy drive. Sea fishing can be obtained at most of the coastal towns.

We provide all-inclusive 4-day Painting and Sketching holidays.
