Haere Mai is a delightful homely cottage ideal for families. The cottage is clean, light and with plenty of space, a perfect family home from home. The house is accurately described and is well equipped with everything you need, from the kitchen equipment to the games, books, wifi, tv and videos. The bedrooms are lovely with good quality comfortable beds and plenty of storage space.
We have four young teenagers who throughly enjoyed the lovely pool, playing in the huge garden and using the bicycles to cycle on the many cycle paths to explore and visit local villages.
The owners provided excellent service, making sure we had settled in and that everything was in order; they are friendly and helpful and at the end of the phone with any problems which were quickly resolved. (Couldn't work the microwave!)
The house itself is in its own grounds, is peaceful, set in a quiet location but only a short drive or cycle ride to the local villages and beaches. The beaches and waves are fabulous and easy to get to with life guards and safe swimming areas in the main areas. The nearest coastal town is only 15minutes away and has a regular market and plenty of restaurants.
If you are looking for a quiet relaxing family holiday yet close to all the amenities then I would throughly recommend this cottage. We enjoyed our stay and will be recommending the cottage to our friends and relatives.
