Food and Drink at Le Bignon/Vine House: All guests staying at Le Bignon and Vine House are welcome to take breakfast and/or dinner as required.
A Breakfast Buffet (24 hours notice please) is available at 9am each morning at 9 euros per person. In addition to freshly squeezed fruit juice, filter coffee, hot chocolate or a selection of Twinings teas you can enjoy a buffet of cereals, cold meat, cheeses, smoked salmon, yogurt and fresh fruit with breads, croissants, local honey and home made jams and jellies, such as quince, redcurrant and orange, damson and mulberry.
Dinner is served Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat evenings in the dining room or on the terrace at 8.00pm and is 28 Euro per person.
A Typical Dinner Menu: Tomato & Basil Tartlet; Pan Roasted Breast of Free Range Duck with Damson Sauce OR Charlotte of Chargrilled Garden Aubergines with Ratatouille & Goats Cheese Filling; Selection of Cheeses with walnuts from the garden; Something Disgracefully Chocolatey! Coffee. The wine list includes Anjou, Saumur & Muscadet and there is an Honesty Bar.
Chambres d'Hote (Bed & Breakfast): In the Manor House, our 3 fabulous rooms on the 2nd floor are decorated in Toile de Juoy & are light & bright with a low key elegance. The Black Room & the Red Room can be arranged as either twins or super kings & the Blue Room is a king size. The top quality beds are dressed with Egyptian cotton bed linen & all rooms offer stylish furnishings, ample storage & comfy chairs to sit and read or enjoy a quiet drink. Tea, coffee & biscuits are provided. En suite shower rooms offer thermostatically controlled showers, Egyptian cotton towels and bathrobes, hair-dryer & Arran Aromatics toiletries. On the ground floor, the cosy Guests Sitting Room has books, games & magazines plus Honesty Bar. Aperitifs & after dinner coffee are served here in the evenings. Dinner (28 Euro pp for 4 courses + coffee) is served in the elegant Dining Room or on the Terrace. B&B 80 - 95 Euro per room depending upon Season & number of nights.
