This large, charming farmhouse has all you need for a family holiday in France. It has a swimming pool 12m long and 2 acres of lawned garden. There is a huge living area as well as a very large dining room and separate kitchen. Facilities include indoor games such as snooker/pool, table football, and an extensive range of videos, DVDs and other games. There is also a PS2 - bring your own games. Outside there are boules, bikes volleyball/badminton nets and table tennis in the barn. The locality is delightful and less than 1 hr from Limoges airport and just slightly more from Poitiers and la Rochelle airports. Flights from Stansted to Angouleme which is a 30 minute drive from the house are scheduled for the summer. ***** FROM APRIL - NOVEMBER Ryanair flights from Stansted to Angouleme ****** British Sky - Freeview channels - on 34' plasma TV

This large farmhouse is situated in very quiet countryside just north of the village of Beaulieu-sur-Sonnette. There are no near neighbours and the property is surrounded by extremely pleasant undulating farmland and vineyards. It is a 3 minute drive and about 10 minutes on bicycle ride from the nearest village where there is a boulangerie and grocer. About 10 minutes drive is Champagne Mouton for more extensive facilities such as medium sized supermarket, cash machines and so on. There are many rivers with fishing and canoes and a wide range of old towns and castles to visit.

The cots give space for 2 more babies. 2 of the 4 bedrooms on the ground floor have large fireplaces and have cobblestone floors and rugs. Very cool in summer. The other 2 bedrooms are on the first floor on the galleried landing.

Notes: The dining arrangements are flexible. During summer months there is the chance to eat on either the shaded 'terrace' to one side of the house or under a canopy next to the pool on the other side. This description does not do the property justice. The outdoor barn is huge and there is an indoor games area which currently contains the table football so that the lounge can be a quiet area. There is space for many cars and enough room on the lawned area for a couple of games of football to be going on. There is also a good sized utility room next to the kitchen.
