A perfect summer in France
Review Submitted: March 16, 2009

Our family and friends stayed in this beautiful historic house in the summer of 2007 & 2008, the accommodation is large, decorated and furnished in a relaxed and practical way, yet very stylish and quintessentially French.
There are extensive gardens with far-reaching views, a large pool and it is all surrounded by vines. The location is calm and private which allowed my eldest teenage son and friends to entertain themselves from dawn to dusk, without interfering with our enjoyment.
There are many activities nearby, we cycled on an old railway track through unspoilt countryside at Creon, canoed on the Dordogne and had a picnic at Pessac, tasted the finest wines in the caves of St.Emilion and ate in riverside restaurants on the banks of the river at Libourne after a busy morning at the market.
This is a place to return to year after year with plenty to do, or simply relax.
