Still being renovated

This house is only partly renovated. Wires were hanging where lights are going to be, walls were still to be finished and the living room area needed a good clean. The kitchen was adequate, I would not like to think what it would be like with 12 adults staying there (we were 5 adults and 4 children).
2 of the so called bedrooms were not bedrooms at all, but downstairs living areas with beds put in (the smell of damp in these rooms made tham uninhabitable). One of our party had to sleep on a mattress on the floor in a bedroom, she was probably better off as the beds were children size. The indoor pool was the only plus regarding the house but then that area needed a good clean.
The location was fantastic, the gardens & views were spectacular and Chateau Gontier was absolutely beautiful. If only the house had been up to scratch.
I do not think this house should have been for rent as it is no where near the standard it should have been for the price. We did not feel it was good value for money.
Get it off the rental site until it is finished.
Owner's Response: After receipt of this mail, we are very surprised by this overreaction, it has been two years since we rent this house lodging, all people spend a very happy holiday, they found the house very nice and very pleasant, it has recently been restored in its ancien.La style house is perfectly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with 20M2 the dining room beside a table for 12 people. The house is perfectly described in the announcement, the allocation of rooms and rooms with different beds so people know exactly what they will find upon arrival. Finally, an indoor pool heated to 28 ° always emerges from moisture, which is why it is well stipulated in the settlement to cover the pool every night.
