Summer holiday rental, self catering. Great Family Holiday, Spacious Villa with separate well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large dining room with long table and chairs for 12 people, spacious lounge with L Shape sofas and bed settee and arm chairs (double doors will lock to create another bedroom). TV Satellite, DVD Player & DVDs, Sony Hi-fi system. Safe walled garden with sandpit for young children. South terrace and west facing terrace Chimney BBQ. 2 cots, 2 highchairs, 1 buggy pushchair, changing mat and baby bath. Toys, books, games. With alternative sleeping arrangements would suit 5 couples for a Golfing holiday or three small families up to a maximum of 12 persons. Only 200 metres from the beach, coastal walkway, and separate cycle track. Everything close at hand, shops, restaurants, bars, children's park and large salt water lake with false beach for young children's safe paddling. Three great Golfing sites near plus some great lakes for Carp Fishing or Sea Fishing trip

  • Electricity, Gas & Water Charges are inclusive in the price for High Season Bookings (i.e. July August) Out of season (i.e. all other months) will be charged only for amount used by meter readings.
    Change over day is Saturday, we ask our guests to vacate the house at 10 am on Saturday morning, new guests arriving can pick up the keys after 2 pm Saturday afternoon.
    We allow our guests to chose whether they would like to bring their own linen or hire it. Therefore it is not included in this price, but is available at laundry cost only (no additions). Please contact owner for details,
    Non refundable deposit of 20% with the booking, Balance due 6 weeks prior to start date.
    Refundable Security and Damage Deposit £400 .

Notes: For the Babies, there is a wooden cot plus a travel cot, there is a high chair, plus a chair feeder, which straps onto a standard dining chair. There is one buggy style pushchair, a baby bath & baby changing mat Linen hire available please ask for price list In the kitchen there is a Cooker with one electric and three gas rings plus an electric oven. On the other side of the kitchen is an additional hob with a further 4 gas rings to help the cooking chores run smoothly. For the comfort of all our guests we ask people not to smoke inside the house, but we understand that some guests may wish to smoke outside which is welcomed and an ashtray is provided. The house has an effective and efficient wood burning stove in the dining room plus a lovely open fire in the lounge. Plus Electric radiators in every room for out of season bookings. Sorry accommodation not suitable for Hen or Stag parties, more suited to families and couples

We found the property exactly as advertised situated in a lovely part of France just a couple of hundred yards from the beach which is partly sandy and rocky which is a great for walking around swimming and surf boarding. Lots of walks and cycle paths with all shops within easy reach.
We have been renting Villas in France for a good number of years and this is one of the best.
Lovely Villa with well equipped kitchen and accomodation in a really quiet location.
Our parties age range is 16 to 67
Highly recommended.

Owner's Response: Yes the coast at Bretignolles has it all, beautiful long sand dunes, safe beach for swimming with life guards in high season and Beach Disney Club for kids, rocky area with great rock pools to discover little creatures, and finally a lovely wild coastline leading to St Gilles with interesting rock formations and colours. Great spot to view the sea and land birds and admire the flowers and fauna. We are so delighted to read your review thank you and we hope to welcome you back.

We had a fantastic 2 week holiday here in August this year (2009). The property was ideally located - very close to the beach and local amenities, yet in a beautifully quiet residential road. The villa was clean, spacious and very well equipped. We would definitely consider returning, particularly given the excellent customer service we received from the owners who were efficient, friendly and incredibly helpful.

fantastic holiday location was spot on. there were 11 of us on a bikers holiday and the villa was much more than we expected, the rooms were bright and cheerful. the layout of the house was great. the kitchen catered for 11 people with ease.the garden area was great with two patio areas
the beach was just up the road like mentioned bars and resturants in walking distance val and mick were just a phone call away if we needed any help, would recomend it to all friends who were thinking of going. will return again in the future

Great location - spacious house

Overall we found the house very spacious, even for our large group, and well-equipped. It was one of the best equipped kitchens we had ever seen in self-catering. We very much appreciate some of the new baby equipment you left and also the selection of DVDs, which was great for the kids. Thanks for the excellent instructions for arrival day too. Location was outstanding - beaches, cycle paths, shops, etc. all near by.

Lovely house, very well-equipped in a great location. Very close to beach, playground for kids and a short-ish stroll to town. Nice village, not to touristy but good access to larger centres. The cycle routes along the coast are very good and easy cycling. We had 2 under-3's and they both loved it. Would recommend as a family holiday.
