Nice comfortable new villa nestled in the forest with garden and swimming pool in the Bassin d'Arcachon area. Close to a safe sandy beach (400 m) and fashionable Le Moulleau Village with shops (bakers, grocers, chemist, restaurants, art galleries, fashion shops, hairdressers,....) 3 bedrooms: 1 double with ensuite bathroom, another double and one with 2 single beds (berth) which share the other bathroom. A large open living room with an 'American kitchen' and a fireplace. All facilities provided: wash machine, dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer. Comfortable and well adapted furniture to the summer life + barbecue and garden furniture (armchairs, table, deckchairs).

The villa is along the Bassin d'Arcachon in Pyla sur Mer at Le Moulleau Village, 4 kms south Arcachon. Not far from the highest sand dune in Europe the famous 'dune du Pyla' Close to the Medoc area and its famous Chateaux. Joint with Landes forest and lakes, and 'Parc Regional des Landes de Gascogne'. Not far from Bordeaux (60kms) the new UNESCO classified town, famous for the Garonne's banks and the beautifull architecture. And a lot to do on site: beach, cycling, play golf, enjoy the ocean beaches, walking in the forest. Very easy to reach from Bordeaux TGV station or airport:

Additional information about rental rates

  • Stays are from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter or longer stays and different arrival days are negotiable. For a 2 weeks stay 5% off!!!
    To confirm the booking, 1/3 of the price is required, the balance is to be paid one month before the arrival.
    A security deposit (1000€ or 1000 GBP) is needed at the arrival and given back one week after the end of stay.
  • Rental includes: water, electricity, except for February, March, April & October; if central heating is needed. Blankets, duvets, pillows are in the villa, if needed linen (sheets, pillow cases, towels,....) can be provided (60€/house)

Notes: Could be convenient for elderly and disabled, but the terrace is made with wood and not very convenient for wheelchair. A cot is available. And non smokers are welcome!!! The swimming pool is heated by the sun!! Discount for stays more than 1 week (5% off). And very important: no car required to spend 1 or 2 weeks in the villa: rail station in Arcachon, buses and boats available to visit the area, and bicycles in the premise.

All water sports available: Close to the villa, the Moulleau’s beach. A sail club for adults and children within 1km. You can rent ‘pinasse’; sail boats, catamarans, and speed boat in Arcachon's harbour (8kms). Fishing, cruising available at Le Moulleau's pier (800ms) All the other activities are possible: kid's club activity, sail board, kite board on the Bassin (1km), even diving and just relax on the sandy beach. On the Ocean breathtaking beaches (15kms) great surf with beautiful waves. And in Autumn and Winter a lot to do: play tennis or golf on the various courses all around, go in the forest searching mushrooms or walk along the wild lakes !!!! Visit Bordeaux : the new UNESCO classified town with the most beautiful urban architecture in Europe along the Garonne river. Visit the famous Châteaux wine cellars

No car necessary: If you decided, YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT CAR. Beach and all facilities are available within 1kms: shopping, baker, grocer, bars, restaurants, and chemist, generalist, dentist, even in winter Arcachon down town, balneo-therapy and tennis can be reached by walking or cycling. Four bicycles are at your disposal in the villa and more can be rented

Golf courses: Arcachon beautifull old course is les 6kms, the new one in Gujan 13kms. and much more around the Bassin (Lacanau, Biscarosse, Bordeaux) and on the chalenging Cote Basque

A very nice and comfortable house, peacefully located within short walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. And we were so well received by the friendly owner. Perfect for our 3 generation family. We would love to come back.
