There is a cleaning and security deposit of 750 euros per house payable to reception on arrival - normally by credit card. You are expected to leave your villa clean. If you wish to take the final cleaning service, this is extra and payable to reception/cleaning staff. Electricity is charged according to meter reading. Comments from July 2003 :Dear Claire We all had a wonderful time at the Villa (Diamond) and could genuinely not find fault at all. We were particularly impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was and the amount of safe space available both inside and in the garden for children to play. My parents are currently there with my family and have also agreed it is a superb complex...we are thinking of returning next year with friends..
Private pool and outside area of villa.:
The special villa Diamond with TWO HEATED SWIMMING POOLS - one especially for toddlers with a fence between the villa and the pools, with other extra facilities such as a barbecue, microwave, hairdryer etc; internally this is laid out similar to other 8 person villas and is subject to a price supplement. Holiday Rentals advert 10795. The pools are approx 8 x 4 metres. Please note: there is no «safety fence» around the pool, so extra attention would be needed if young children are in your party. Water treatment is often by salt-electrolysis system. The pool temperature is approx.22 degrees (dependant on weather).The villas have sandy plots and tilled pool terraces. The gardens are grass, sand, decking or gravel. Some of the hedges are not very high but there is fencing or walls around your plot of land.
Barbecues are not provided.
Extra services/different furniture choices:
There is a reception on site. Taxe de sejour, the local tourist tax, is 0.44 euros per person. Electricity is charged according to a meter reading. There are cots and high chairs for hire, and extra maid services too. Sheets pillowcases and towels are not included in above price. Final cleaning service is extra, do ask for prices. Cleaning will be charged after your departure. Different private owners have furnished the houses with differing furniture, please request exact details as required.

FREE DELIVERY OF RENTED BIKES If you pre-book cycle hire for a minimun of 3 days, bicycles will be delivered to your door at no extra charge. And at the end of your rental, they can be collected too.
Saturday Shuttle from Nantes Airport to St Jean de Monts: If you fly on a Saturday, between approx mid May and early September, a pre-bookable shuttle service can take you to your villa and collect you on the return. Contact us for prices and more detail.
Golf:
The International Course at St Jean de Monts: An internationally recognised and famous course, not only as you can play in almost any weather as it is excellently drained as it was built on a sandy base : This course quickly became established as one of the best new layouts in recent years and has preserved its status. Laid out along the Atlantic ocean, this is an homage to links golf, even though ten or so holes (sometimes very tight indeed) wind their way through a forest of maritime pines and oak trees. The highly contoured fairways and two or three tiered greens hug the relief of the dunes with obvious emphasis on preserving the natural landscape. Architect Yves Bureau has played more on the need for precision rather than length, but the wind can make this a devilishly hard course. The British will certainly feel at home here. Saint Jean de Monts is easily playable all year and green fees are very reasonable, thus making this one of the best values for money in France. (Source: Peugeot Golf Guide). 6523 yards, 5937m long, par 72. There is a Club House with a restaurant, a newly fitted out Pro Shop with excellent clothes for sale, Buggies and trolleys for rent. Also a compact 5 hole course, Practice ground and putting greens. There are other excellent courses locally. We can arrange for our friends to play with you as we have many friends who play all different handicaps who love an excuse to play ! . Forest footpaths & cycle tracks in the well-preserved National forest, and great sandyachting.
