This former 16th century Shepperd house with 10 acres of land is in the middle of a forest with an incredible view on the sea and the mountains and at 15 kilometers from the beaches of Calvi. The house is surrendered with olive trees, orange trees and lemon trees. It has one terrace 25m² who looks at the sea and a second one 25m² looking on t the mountains. There is also a swimming pool with children security. The house is entirely made of traditional stones and the area is completely quiet with no cars or other houses around. The house is 400 meters above sea level and with its thick stone walls is cooler in the summer than coastal villas.

The house is situated in the Balagne area which is unspoiled with beautiful beaches, mountains and 14 century villages. The village at 5 kilometers from the house is Calenzana where the famous GR20 hiking route starts. The area has unique mountain villages like San Antonino, Pigna, Corbara, Montemagiore all set along the edge of the mountains looking at the sea. The Balagne area is famous for its olive oil and its popular seaside locations. The town of Calvi with its 15 century citadel, its narrow streets and wicker-seated cafe bars bordering the ocean and 10 kilometers long beaches is only 20 minutes drive from the house. There are also bathing possibilities in the rivers near the house.
