The property is a 12th Century Gite set in 5 acres with lawns, swimming pool and beautiful views. Guests have their own hedged garden with table and chairs. Le Prieuré is situated between Bordeaux and St Emilion, you are well located to discover the vineyards of the Bordeaux region. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with an English host to answer your questions.

Built from the attractive blond stone of the region, with plenty of exposed oak beams, the old priory has been converted into spacious and comfortable accommodation with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It has its own private garden with a protective hedge. Use of the swimming pool (10m x5m) which is discreetly out of earshot of the house in an open lawn area with a spectacular view over a wooded valley. There is a large sitting room (7 m x 5 m) opening out on to the garden, a dining area and fireplace. There is a separate modern fitted kitchen (+ dishwasher), which also opens on to the garden. Separate W.C.washing machine and central heating. Downstairs large Double Bedroom with en-suite bathroom. First floor: Large principal bedroom with double bed leading to an en-suite bathroom, which has a bath with a shower attachment, basin and WC. Large double bedroom with a double bed, double bedroom with twin single beds . Bathroom with shower, basin and W.C.

St Quentin de Baron is 25 km (25 minutes) east of Bordeaux on the D936. 40 minutes from Bordeaux airport, 1hr from the coast, situated in the heart of the Bordeaux wine growing district, and 10-15 minutes from St Emilion (world heritage town). HOW TO GET HERE: From the north take the 'rocade' east towards Toulouse, Bayonne, Arcachon. Exit 24 D936 towards Bergerac. Still on the D936 on leaving St Quentin de Baron you will see 'Carré Bleu Piscine' and a petrol station. 1.3km on the right you will see a yellow sign with Le Prieuré marked. (Opposite there is a kilometre marker k25.) Take the rural road and follow the lefthand fork right to the end of the road. You will see Le Prieuré clearly marked.
