Holiday home set in pine forest overlooking golf course

Holiday home set in a small development surrounded by pine trees. Lacanau Ocean village with its many bars restaurants, and huge sandy beach is 1.5km away, which when utilising the abundance of purpose built cycle tracks takes just 10 minutes to reach. Lacanau lake is also the same short distance away, & there is also a communal swimming pool within the complex some 50m away. The house accommodation consists of kitchenette/diner with table chairs, and bed settee. Two upstairs bedrooms, one with double bed, the other having bunk beds. Bathroom/toilet with shower, mezzanine area for additional storage. Outside there is a paved patio area with table & chairs perfect for alfresco dining. The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric hobs, sink unit, microwave etc. Bike hire is available in the village. Bordeaux and the Medoc wine region is within half an hours drive. Waterpark at Gujan Muestres is 45 mins drive away. Merignac airport is also half an hour away.

The house is set in a pine forest, circa 1.5 km from the village of Lacanau Ocean, which has a large beach, and many bars/restaurants etc. The same distance away are the largest lakes in France-Hourtin, and Lacanau. Within 20 miles drive you are in the world famous wine region of the Medoc with its many Chateaux, and vineyards. Cosmopolitan Bordeaux is around 30 miles away with its many delights. A water park at Gujan Muestres is 45minutes drive away. If you prefer to cycle both Cap Ferret in the South, and Soulac in the North can be reached utilising the purpose built cycle tracks, which run parallel to the sea from the Northern tip to the Southern tip, and also one can cycle all the way to Bordeaux taking in the beauty of the pine forests and vineyards, and maybe even a sample of the local delights at a bar along the way! Further afield the Northern peninsula of Spain can be reached in three hours, or if you prefer the French side of the border, Biarritz is circa two hours away.
