A Romantic 17th century Windmill with pool, jacuzzi and hot-tub

It stands alone amidst the vines, with breathtaking panoramic views. Gardens are lawned & amount to approximately 3/4 acre. Nearest neighbours are some distance away. Ideal for honeymooners (1st or 2nd!) or just a very magical, idyllic place to totally de-stress. A hot-tub has been installed just for off season lets, with water temperature up to 40°, for you to watch the sunsets or just stargaze at the beautiful non-light-polluted sky at whatever the time of year! Enjoy it in the winter, before you return inside to your blazing log fire. It's a beautiful building in a beautiful spot.There are 4 floors of accommodation: a shower room with hydrotherapy shower fitted in pink marble from the Maldives; a fitted oak kitchen with fridge freezer, oven, 2 ring stove; a double bedroom with en-suite sink; a lounge with 360 degrees views. All are approached with stone spiral stairs that hug the walls. and wooden trap doors to separate each floor. We offer 2 chair beds in the lounge for children.

We only rent from May until the end of October because the mill can be flooded occasionally without much warning at other times of the year! Should heating be required in October, it is provided by 2 wood burners ( kitchen & lounge) and oil radiators in the bedrooms. A supplement is negotiated for this at the time of the let.

It's a very dinky, marvellous building and location - best suited to couples, but if your children are between 5 & 10 and the same sex, it also works well. The wall-hugging stone spiral staircase can be closed off with the trap doors between each level. Excellent for 1st (or 2nd!!) honeymoons. An absolutely unique holiday venue.
