This house is full of charm and style, with wooden floors, split levels and galleried mezzanine. It also has a secluded garden and is conveniently located 5 minutes from the metro, buses and shopping centre. Situated on the edge of a park one has the impression of being in the countryside at the same time as being in Paris. Very peaceful and quiet.

This beautiful and unique house is full of charm. The rooms are on split levels with wooden floors and galleried mezzanine areas. It is situated on the edge of a park so that one has the impression of being in the countryside at the same time as being in Paris. There is an added advantage that it is very quiet. There is also a secluded garden with a barbecue. The metro and shopping centre are only a short walk from the house which is an ideal base for sightseeing in Paris and the surrounding areas.

This delightful property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, adjacent to a large green park. Montreuil is situated south of the centre of Paris. The house is within walking distance of the metro and 15 minutes from the centre of Paris by car. 10 minutes away you will find the Castle, park and horse races of Vincennes. Charles de Gaulle airport is 20 minutes away and it's only a 45 minutes journey to Euro Disney. In 20 minutes you'll be at the Parc des Expositions in Villepinte.

We were a bit unsettled when we first arrived at this house because first of all it was a bit hard to find and then there was a family of gypsies living in the field across the street. We were a little unsure of the neighborhood, but as the week went on we came to enjoy this little corner near Paris. It was about a ten minute walk to the metro station where we bought a three day pass and traveled each of those days in and all around Paris. It was a very easy and practical way to sightsee. The house itself is on five different levels with open slated stairs and open drops to the next level. This made it very difficult for our one and three year old grandsons. We rearranged the furniture and managed to keep them safe, but I would not recommend this location for families with small children. There is a wonderful bakery only about a 2 - 3 minute walk away which we enjoyed on several occasions. Oh, and the gypsies seemed to be just fine.

Nice and clean house nearby Paris

We stay for a week with 9 persons in the house, and I must say that is was very comfortable for everyone. The
house is closeby the metrostation, so we where very fast in the center of Paris. The house was clean and everything
was oke. The owner was very helpfull for us. We cook our meal by ourselves and the kitchen was extensively. We where very satisfy over the stay for this week.

We just spent a truly exceptional weekend in Paris. This was on one hand certainly due to the spring time weather but on the other hand also to the house which we found specklessly clean, well-heated and well-equipped! Breakfast on the balcony, jogging in the park and the relatively short trips into the city centre made us enjoy Paris to the full. We found the combination of the peace and quiet (plus fresh air) of the house and the hustle and bustle of Paris fantastic. We'll certainly be back!

We were very disappointed with the property, it has been sadly neglected over the years. Long walk to the supermarket and no suitable restaurants close by. Too far away from Paris centre.
Differcult to contact owner. Could not possibly recommend.
