With off street parking, this detached property is within walking distance of Civray's market square (5 minutes!). Here you can enjoy visiting the local bars and restaurants and twice weekly market selling fresh local products. The accommodation consists of a sitting room with dining area, stunning kitchen with breakfast bar. The first floor is reached by a wooden staircase and consists of one double bedroom; one twin bedroom; bathroom with bath (and shower over) and toilet; and a separate WC. The kitchen leads onto a secluded garden which has an above ground swimming pool (24ft by 12ft) (May to October). The gite has been recently renovated and beautifully decorated, providing the ideal location for a family holiday, a long weekend, or even a midweek break. Fly to Poitiers, Angouleme, Limoges, Tours or La Rochelle - they are all under two hours away.

Situated on the Charente river Civray is a market town with a population of about 3000. Ideally set in the heart of the Poitou Charentes region, 45 minutes away from Poitiers, the Futuroscope park, Niort and Angouleme and Limoges. The area is still a vibrant community and offers visitors a friendly welcome and a wide range of leisure activities: canoeing, riding, rambling, watersports, leisure centres and riving fishing. La Vallee des Singes is only 15 minutes away where you can see an amazing selection of monkeys roaming free! The Atlantic Coast is an hour and half away, where you can enjoy the surf or dine out at fantastic seafood restaurants in La Rochelle. The region is steeped in culture and history and also has a wide range of local gastronomy. The local shops and amenities are within a 5 minute WALK!
