Golf Clubs At Giez (15mins) and Talloires(30mins):
There are a number of golf clubs nearby. The nearest is just before the town of Faverges. This club is open to non-members and has an 18 hole course and seperate 9 hole course too. There is also one at the village of Talloires, 30 minutes away and is open to non-members, though booking is recommended.
Skiing & Summer Activities In The Mountains:
The nearest ski resort is Montmin which is aimed at beginners and families. It is @ 20 minutes away. La Clusaz is about 45 minutes away and there is a large ESF ski school based there. Classes in English are available as are one to one lessons. There is also a great enclosed ski activity park for children up to the age of 5 - ski instructors will look after the children and help guide them around the activities.
This resort also provides great entertainment in the summer including a luge, mountain biking and walking trails and children's activities park.

Annecy:
This really is a beautiful town and is well worth a visit whether for the historic buildings, parks, canals, markets, shops, beaches and entertainment or simply to enjoy a meal and glass of wine in the canalside restaurants.
