Located in the village of Montboyer in the rolling countryside of Charente and enjoying one of the best micro climates in all of France, Langlade is the ideal holiday location for all the family. We can cater for either individual families or extended groups of up to sixteen people in our two beautifully renovated four bed-roomed holiday homes, La Petite Anglade and Villa Anglade. Our properties are set in over three acres of mature wooded gardens in a beautiful rural setting yet close to all amenities. Each house can comfortably accommodate up to eight adults and has exclusive use of its own 10m x 5m, swimming pool.

Boasting well planned spacious accommodation, La Petite Anglade, with its shuttered windows, terracotta floor tiles and comfortable modern furnishings , should not fail to please the whole family. The house comfortably sleeps eight adults (two double bedrooms - one en suite and two twin bedrooms). It has a spacious bright kitchen with dining area and a large living room featuring a large cut-stone fireplace and open stone work walls. Both kitchen and living room have french doors leading onto the covered terrace which is ideal for alfresco dining or barbeque's. The large south facing garden is perfect for games or simply soaking up the sun while the delightful swimming pool (10m x 5m with roman steps) enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding countrysid

Whether you are seeking a peaceful relaxing holiday lounging by the pool amidst the rolling countryside of Southwest France or looking for a more active holiday L'Anglade is ideally suited to meet your every need. Situated in the heart of the Charente and close to the borders of Dordogne & Charente-Maritime, there are a host of amenities & activities close by. The village of Montboyer, which is situated approximately 1km away, is a typical small French village. There is a grocery shop/ bakery (suitable for basic requirements only), a post office, garage and a friendly little bar/restaurant. The market town of Chalais (5km), has a good sized Intermarche Supermarket for more extensive household shopping as well as most other types of shop. There is also a very good & interesting market in Chalais on Monday mornings which is excellent for fresh produce as well as offering a real taste of French country life. The nearby town of Riberac also has an excellent market every Friday morning.
