Your villa is built high on a hill overlooking Ajaccio, within a landscape framework calms and natural seen panoramic on the sea. The lawn planted of palm trees and exotic plants borders the swimming pool (20mx6m) with Jacuzzi . The access to the villa is done by remote-controlled gate. The car park is covered. The villa included an entry with wash-stand and WC - 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms - a kitchen with refrigerator American freezer, furnace with revolving heat, 3 hotplates, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine. The storeroom has washing machine, dryer, 2nd refrigerator - Dining room with large table of monastery, counts out of glass contemporary - Living room with chimney, settee and armchairs of white leather, coffee table 'Le Corbusier', chains stereo, television set plasma. Dining room of summer covered, barbecue, table & chairs out of teak - Swimming pool with jacuzzi and shower, 8 sun baths, parasols & hammocks.

This house is at 5 minutes by car from the cosmopolitan capital of the island. Ajaccio is a fascinating mix of old and new-a 15th Century Genoese stronghold turned modern city, with its palm tree lined boulevards and selection of sophisticated shops, restaurants, boats, and daily market, and the same distance to two lovely beaches, one quiet with little bar/restaurants ('paillotes') and the other with a selection of water sports. You should take trips up to the ancient village of Vico or the 'Calanques de Porto'; or drive to Bastelica via the impressive 'Prunelli Gorges'. At night you take a drink on the sunset to the 'Sanguinary Island'.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
    A non refundable deposit of 30% of the rental value is required at the time of booking. (Except see note below for long term ahead booking). The remainder is due 8 weeks before occupancy. If the booking is within the 8 week period the full sum will be required immediately. In addition to the rental, a refundable sum of 1500 euros will be required as a damage deposit which will be refunded within 4 weeks of the end of your holiday after the property has been inspected. .Bookings more than 1 year ahead from the start date will be accepted for a non refundable 10% deposit of the existing current rental. To retain the booking, the remainder of the 30% deposit of the rate for the year being booked will be payable by the end of November in the calendar year preceding the holiday. Extra 9 person 500 Euros.
  • Changeover day is Sunday; the check-in starts at 11am and the check-out is before 8 am. The rental rate includes electricity, gas, heating, linen. Villa with keeper - Possibility to do the housework, babysitter, fetch and carry on the arrival.

This Vacation home is very high class, everything works perfect and is in mint condition. Location is beautiful with stunning views. It's expensive, but worth every cent. Perfect for families with not-too-small kids. Outside dining area might possibly be one of the best features. Hosts are very accommodating and friendly. We hope to come back one day. - Though it's a long way from Greenland!

This villa is fantastic and is on a par with the wellcome extended by the owners. We recommend this rental to anyone wishing to keep tremendous memories of Corsica.

La Capitelle magic!

A bit difficult to find on the map provided but when we arrived - wow what a location. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and our French improved dramatically! The terrace and pool are wonderful and we stayed home quite a lot. The long living room is lovely but be careful there are lots of breakables! The double room downstairs would have been better with a double bed instead of twins but everything was immaculate. The peace was amazing and the white hammock divine for reading. Expensive but understandable because of the location. Super U for shopping 5 minutes away had everything. Ajaccio town is charming in a busy sort of way. The harbour area and old streets at night are great. We flew to Figari which is a long drive, ajaccio would be much better. The cat was super fun and we called her houdini as she kept appearning through windows etc. All in all a super holiday.
