'La Feraudiere' was built in 1960 for a famous French singer. It is located in 'Les Abatilles', a quiet area of the exclusive resort of Arcachon, well-known for the exceptional beauty of its bay and beaches. The villa is now carefully maintained as a family holiday home, offering space for up to two families. It is surrounded by a very private garden (1,000 sqm), planted with cedar, mimosas, palm trees... The wooden terrace by the pool (pool size 8x4.5m - alarm protected) is perfect for sunbathing. The main terrace by the house (50 sqm with built-in barbecue) overlooks the pool and is normally used as a communal and eating area. When the weather becomes cooler, the large, well-heated and lightly decorated living room, equipped with a real fireplace, contributes to a relaxing holiday atmosphere. 'La Feraudiere' is well situated, a few hundred meters away from the renowned golf course and the pine forest, and 2 mn drive from the nicest beach or livy city centre.

THE place to stay for amazing vacations

We came from Canada last summer for a 2 weeks vacations in the Atlantic French Coast. The villa contributed largely to our unforgetable stay ! However Arcachon is a very nice place to stay in summer, this charming house welcomed us warmly with its large and pristine swimming pool. The terrace above the garden is lalso arge enought with its charcoal to serve diner to 2 or 3 families. And the living room is really comfortable to play games and watch Tv by the rainy days. All bedding is perfect, almost new. The kitchen is convenient. The house is well decorated with memories of Africa and maritime hues.
We spent 2 weeks with our friends and we never stop thinking about the next time. For sure will be a next time! Arcachon is a place really amazing for summer. Between the beaches, bars and oysters restaurants, walks on deserted beaches and stunning sunsets... we found a corner of paradise. Many thanks to Desarmeaux family for this quiet and nice villa !

Wonderful stay in a beautyful Villa in Arcachon

My partner and me have spend 10 days in the fantastic Villa in Arcachon at beginning of Sept. 09. The Villa with it's wonderful furnitures and other accesoires and also it's beautyful surrounding garden area with pool topped our expectations a lot. We wish to have such a charming villa as our own.

We had a totally relaxing vacation time and spend most evenings at the veranda with barbecue. At the market we had all possibilities to by the fresh fishes, Gambas, meat for the dinner. All other things and also seafood and so on we bought at the supermaket Carfour or Casino.

We also went by foot to Arcachon city at the evening. It's a nice 30min walk passing the Ville d'Hiver. Arcachon has a lot of possibilities to go out and have a drink or dinner (sea food).

The beach is also close to. We went most to the beach of Pyla. Wonderful.

One day we visited the Cap Feret. It was impressing, can't describe in words. You have to go there!

The owner is very friendly and supported us in each request we had. Also the welcome at the house with explanations has been perfect (with a bit english speeking).

At the end I'm sure, I will plan a further stay at this nice villa in Arcachon soon.
