You shouldn't miss this one!

Wanting to create a very special family happening in July 2008, my wife and I scanned the Holiday-rentals site for several weeks in 2007 to find a spacious, well equipped place to house ourselves, our four daughters, (aged 32/30/20/18), two sons in law and four grand children (aged 11/9/2/1): One big vacation-loving summer of 2008-family.
We thought this house could do the trick. And: Oh yes; After months of fun planning and even googling of the area - and after fourteen days of home made gourmet dinners, pool swimming and sun bathing, trips to the beaches, markets, restaurants, parks, nearby villages and so on and on, it most definitely has!
Easy communication between ourselves and the owner family, sorted out what we needed in beforehand and when we were there; simple, safe and sound.
This place got what we needed: Brilliant kitchen and outside grilling facilities, a spacious living room, a huge private patio/garden with a swimming pool and lots of rooms, bathrooms and beds etc. to take care of us. And, last but not least: A brilliant guest house for the pater and mater familias.
Read the accomodation and facilities list and smile. We did, and we are still smiling after having returned back home.
We have been travelling several times in Portugal, Italy, Spain, Greece and Southern France. To us the Andernos les Bains village, the Bay of Archachon and the surrounding areas and villages is a whole series of diamonds in roughs. We simply did not know that this part of France was so beautiful. And convenient - especially in times of frequent heath waves all over Souhern Europe!
This is the place to stay for big "extended" families, couples with children, brothers and sisters bringing together kids and adults. Bring a car or cars, swimsuits and leisure outfit. And bring your own cookbooks (The supermarkets and markets has got most of what you need) And, very important: fish, shellfish shellfish, mussels and oysters are brilliant there.
In short: You shouldn't miss this one!
