A gated development of semi & detached villas ALL with private heated pools, plus the famous long sandy beach of St Jean de Monts is only 3.6 km away. The Domaine is near all the facilities of the tourist town and the old market town of St Jean de Monts and the famous international golf course. There are 7 sized villas varying in size from 4 bedrooms and 2 bath/shower rooms to 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom. They all have large lounge areas with dining table and chairs, kitchen areas with fridge freezer, good sized bedrooms, plus an outside patio with garden furniture in front of your OWN PRIVATE HEATED SWIMMING POOL approx 8 x 4 m. This description is for the villa Diamond which is the only villa we know of that has TWO heated pools just for you with a fence between the pools and the villa - please refer to the extra photos here - loads of space in both pools. Set in the Domaine, Villa DIAMOND is a large 4 bedroom and 2 bath/shower rooms detached villa with 2 OWN HEATED SWIMMING POOLS. This special villa's pools are one especially for toddlers and a main pool approx 8 x 4 metres, heated and with steps leading into the water. The toddlers pool has been created by a local swimming pool specialist and is approx 2.5 metres wide in a hexagonal shape. It is approx 50 cm in the deepest point and 30 cm at the sides. It has a water level detector. It has a separate heating system and a separate filtration system from the large pool. There is a fence separating the pools from the villa and there is enough space inside the fenced area for sunloungers whilst you watch the toddlers in their own shallow pool! and 8 outside chairs on a tiled terrace. The villa Diamond, brand new July 2003, has a double and twin (trundle) bedroom downstairs and a bathroom and toilet, and a double and twin (trundle) bedroom and a further shower room and toilet upstairs.

Notes to the rental rates

• Long stays and spring and autumn and winter rentals have a different price structure based on length of stay and number of people - please request a quote. Bed linen can be provided at an extra charge(8 euros per person) and towels (6 euros per person). Hotel service option : Sheets, towels, TV, beds made up on arrival, final clean (except kitchen and washing up) costs 125 euros. Breakfast (bread and croissants) can be ordered from reception.
  Electricity and water are payable all year round.
  
• Any day arrivals and departures in all months are possible except July and August - please ask as ferries and travelling in France are often much less busy. Taxe de sejour is 0.44 euros per person per day. Electricity and water are extra and charged according to meter reading. There is a cot and high chair for hire, and extra maid services too. SECURITY AND CLEANING DEPOSIT is payable on arrival with credit card 750 euros. A maid service is available if you do not wish to clean your villa at the end of your stay (cost 192 euros). Cleaning charges will be debited from your card after your departure.
  BOOKING FEE:
  There is a non refundable booking fee of 25 euros for each booking.
  TBC for 2009: If you pre-book your cycle hire for a minimum of 7 days, your bicycles will be delivered right to your door at no extra charge. And at the end of your rental, they can be collected too. Contact us for more details.

Accommodation and Facilities for Villa Diamond in Vendee, France

Architect plans, heating,interior & aerial photos

The architect plans are available to be sent to you by email and photos of the interiors and even an aerial photo is available too. We also have lots of local information and in the villa Diamond there is a local information file and we can also tell you our favourite restaurants. In the new buffet there is a good selection of books too. The villa Diamond has been built also with the autumn spring and winter in mind as it has a certificate for up-to-date insulation and promotelec heating. Also an open fire place has been installed for a pleasant winter evening ! There are pillows, blankets and matching bedspreads, but further covers in winter can be provided as well. The Diamond can be rented for a couple or up to 8 people - just inform us of how many bedrooms and bathrooms you require to be open in winter/spring and the price will be reduced if not full occupancy.

Private heated pool and outside area of villa.

The pool water treatment is often by salt-electrolysis system. There is a pool company that maintains the pool. The villas often have grassed front lawns and have sandy plots with tiled swimming pool terraces. The gardens are therefore a selection of grass, sand, decking or nice gravel. There are hedges or fencing or walls around your plot of land. There is a footpath/bicycle exit from the Domaine to an un-made-up road that leads you to the forest road, approx 3 km to the beach and local forest paths. For the Turquoise villas there are different private owners who have furnished the houses with differing furniture, please request exact details as required. Electricity is extra and is charged according to meter reading. Client comment: Just to let you know we had a wonderful holiday. Extra services and cleaning details

There is a cleaning and security deposit of 750 euros per house payable to reception on arrival - normally by credit card. You are expected to leave your villa clean. If you wish to take the final cleaning service, this is extra: 80 euros and is payable to reception/cleaning staff. Cleaning can also be charged per hour after your departure if it has not been left clean. TO BE CONFIRMED FOR 2009: Bikes delivered to your door. If you pre-book your cycle hire for a minimum of 7 days, your bicycles will be delivered right to your door at no extra charge. And at the end of your rental, they can be collected too. Contact us for more details. and Saturday Shuttle from Nantes Airport to St Jean de Monts. If you fly on a Saturday, between 17 May and 6 September, a pre-bookable shuttle service can take you to your villa and collect you on the return.
