House in new holiday complex, built amongst the sand dunes, 650 metres from long, sandy beach. Complex has own heated swimming pool and residents can access beach via path through pine forest. House ground floor: lounge/kitchenette, double bedroom, bathroom, separate WC. First floor: mezzanine (sleeping gallery) sleeping 3, plus extra bed. Fridge, dishwasher, hob and grill microwave. Garden terrace with furniture and barbecue. Complex is semi-pedestrianised and safe for children. Individual parking spaces near front gate. Childrens' activities organised July/August. Shops, restaurant, cafe within 500 m. Laundrette. Reception organises numerous services: bread, cleaning, bike rental etc

The holiday house is near the picturesque town of St Jean de Monts and close to St Gilles Croix de Vie. The long, sandy beaches shelve gently and extend over 12 kilometres from the Baie de Sion to the Plage des Demoiselles. They can be reached by car or on foot through the pine forest. The quality of the water is excellent. The region is an area of natural beauty and offers numerous activities for adults and children alike including sailing, windsurfing, horse riding, paint ball, quad biking, cycling etc. Activities for children are organised in the complex during the summer months. In the evenings the area offers a variety of shows, concerts etc. The Ile de Noirmoutier is at 25/30 km with its traditional villages, salt marshes and oyster beds.

Notes: Property has one double bedroom on ground floor and sleeping gallery with two single beds plus one bed that pulls out and a sofa bed. In the lounge area there is a two seater sofa, upstairs in the sleeping gallery there is another sofa. Sheets, towels, French TV, bikes, cot and high chair all available for hire from Reception. Public laundrette in addition to washing machine in house. The house is furnished to a high standard in modern style. There are shutters on the doors and windows. We have recently been informed that breakfast can be ordered (well in advance) from Reception. Bread available July and August. It is also possible to order Welcome Pack for the day of your arrival. Heated swimming pool open 1 May to 30 September with terraced surround ideal for sunbathing. Stair gates provided (to be found behind sofa bed in sleeping gallery.)

Prices - further details: Prices include: hot and cold water and electricity in July and August. Prices DO NOT include: - Electricity and heating during the remaider of the year (about £10 per week). - Cleaning. The villa should be left in the state it was found. Should any cleaning be required at the end of your stay, this will be deducted from the deposit cheque. Alternatively, guests can organise the end of stay cleaning via the Reception. Please bring your own sheets and towels etc, or rent from Reception (reserve in advance).

Very very clean and has everything you would need, felt fresh and new, whole complex was spotless, pool ideal for kids and very quite this early in the season. Would recommend going slightly later in June as much of St Jean du Mont is still shut. Owners were excellent with directions, places to visit etc. Nothing worth visiting in walking distance a part from beach, immediate area is very tacky and St Jean de Mont was a bit too geared up for tourists for our liking but there are some lovely French towns nearby, beaches were lovely. Le Sable d'Olonne, St Gille and Noirmontier well worth a visit.
