Facilities and Services on site:
There is a heated swimming pool -open all day and from end of April to end of September, a reception where bread can be pre-ordered There are numbered parking spaces as the complex is pedestrian one. There are approx 160 villas in this complex built during 2004 and 2005. The villas are in groups of 4 and 6 and 8 villas. The site is approx 4.5 hectares and has an exit where you can walk to the forest or a walk to the beach is 650metres from reception - you need to cross a road. I will give you a code to collect your key from a special collection box, if you arrive after reception has closed. There is a public launderette at reception. The holiday village was featured in Regional Press - please ask for article.
To be confirmed for 2010: Bikes delivered to your door. If you pre-book your cycle hire for a minimum of 3 days, your bicycles will be delivered right to your door at no extra charge. And at the end of your rental, they can be collected too. Contact us for more details.
Arrival instructions:
Arrival days are normally from Saturday 5pm to Saturday 8pm. There is a security AND CLEANING deposit taken at reception of 260 euros which is given on arrival by credit card.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE: Local tourist tax 0.27 euros per person per day. Electricity,water and heating cost 20 euros per week between 12/06/2010 and 11/09/2010, and 35 euros per week at other times.
PAYABLE EXTRAS: cot (7 euros /day or 29 euros/week; highchair (5 euros/day or 15 euros/week; Sheets (8 euros per person); Towels (1 bath + 1 hand towel = 6 euros per person)- all can be ordered as extras and payable at reception on arrival.
You must leave your villa CLEAN or pay for a CLEANING service at reception. If you prefer, a mid stay clean (39 euros) and/or an end of stay clean can be booked at reception (84 euros) or a cleaning kit can be purchased for 6 euros. There is a public launderette.
Local information:
St Hilaire de Riez beaches spread from the Plage des Demoiselles beach to that of the Baie de Sion, nine beaches are spread over 12 kilometres in a long line of fine sand with sand dunes. Connected by a cycle trail that crosses the maritime pine and hardwood forest, they have eleven security posts.
The excellent quality of the water is recognised and certified by the Pavillon Bleu d'Europe, a label whose conditions of application are draconian.
In July and August, a wide variety of sports activities are available in this enormous adventure playground.
You can enjoy beach volley ball, sand yachting, beach football or jogging. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy the infrastructures of the Sion Station Voile and the pleasures of the open sea. At the end of the afternoon and in the evening a variety of shows - concerts, street theatre - take over. The most famous of them, an impressive musical fireworks display that takes place at the end of July over the ocean.
