The price includes beds made on arrival, linen and towels. NB: If you are staying for 2 weeks, a change of linen will be given to you at the end of the first week but the apartment will not be cleaned. Cots and highchairs are available from reception (subject to availability and payable) and must be reserved at the time of booking. Please note that the descriptions are for indication only and may vary slightly from the actual apartments in resort. Please also note that some of the apartments on higher floors may be situated under the eaves and may be have low ceiling heights.
Argentiere :
is an old village is in a lovely setting towards the head of the Chamonix valley. The resort is at the end of the Glacier d’Argentiere. The resort offers an unrivalled choice of skiing for intermediate and expert skiers with some of the longest and steepest runs in Europe. For non-skiers the regular resort bus takes you to Chamonix where there is a sports complex and fitness centre, an alpine museum, 3 cinema’s, a library and various other activities.
Getting to Argentiere : :
By Air: Geneva Airport - approx. 1hr 30mins transfer.
By Train: Chamonix Station taxi to resort.
By Car: Autoroute to Geneva. Autoroute Blanche (A40). Follow signs to Chamonix.
Ski:
Argentiere offers an unrivalled choice of skiing for intermediate and expert skiers with some of the longest and steepest runs in Europe. Argentiere is the perfect base for Les Grands Montets, where the more adventurous can find steep slopes with almost unlimited possibilities. The alititude and exposure of Les Grand Montets, guarantee snow of exceptional quality late into the season. The scale of the area (covering some 2800 acres), its vertical possibilities and its high mountain atmosphere are elements celebrated the world over.
The resort features 17 green runs, 22 blue runs, 25 red runs and 10 black runs.
