Located 3 minutes walk from the Brevent cabine and 3 minutes from central Chamonix the apartments are perfectly situated to explore all of Chamonix's winter and summer attractions. Situated in the upmarket 'Mollard' area, the apartments bask in sunshine from first light until dusk; illuminating the stunning views across the Chamonix valley, Mont Blanc, the Mer de Glace and Aiguille du Midi. Renovated to high modern standard the apartments provide splendid accommodation for a memorable holiday. Facilities include gardens front and back, car parking, storage, barbecue, wireless internet access, TV, HiFi, DVD player. Catering and additional housekeeping can be arranged on request at an additional cost subject to availability and agreement. Recommendations and advice can be given on ski passes, ski rental, child care, mountain guiding, transport and flights.

The top floor of Maison de l'Argoat is the jewel in the crown. Converted into an apartment from scratch it delights in fantastic light from the new roof windows while maintaining traditional wooden clad ceilings. The bedrooms are more generously proportioned than is typical of rental apartments and retain the original exposed beams. An expansive bath/shower-room and separate shower room mean that there's plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.

The apartments sit 3 minutes walk below and west of the Brevent bubble lift giving direct access into the Brevents-Flegere lifts - the largest area in the valley. Very locally there's a bar, restaurant and ski shop near the Brevent lift station. An equally short 3 minute walk brings you to the main street in Chamonix (Rue Dr Piccard) with all its bars, restaurants and shops. The location couldn't be better, combining a quiet, smart neighbourhood with easy access to all the fun and facilities that Chamonix can offer. Easily accessed by car (parking provided) the apartments are only a few minutes walk from the reliable Chamonix bus services.

  • Rates are quoted in Euros and payments should be made directly to our French bank account - details will be given once the booking is agreed.

    Payment terms: A non-refundable booking deposit of 10% of reservation cost plus a refundable E400 (or £400 cheque) security deposit is payable on reservation. 50% of the balance is payable 12 weeks in advance or immediately if sooner. The remaining 50% of the balance is payable 6 weeks in advance or immediately if sooner. Damages or excess cleaning costs (except fair wear and tear) will be taken from the security deposit.

    Space for parking one car is allocated to each apartment.

    Bed linen and towels are provided.

  • Catering: Should you wish cater dining on any night please us know in advance and together we can agree availability, menu and price.

    We can also arrange welcome baskets: at varying prices these can include 'late night munchies', snacks, breakfast or a little box of 'nightcaps'. Please let us know in advance and we will endeavour to stock your fridge before your arrival.

  • The Chamois loft is very flexible - although we expect a maximum of 8 guests there is in fact possible accommodation for up to 10. Skiing and snowboarding: Chamonix is the mecca of alpine adventure: skiing, snowboarding, climbing, mountaineering, ski touring and mountain biking. A bustling and lively town (nearly) all year round it offers something for everyone. The apartments are local to the Brevents area, linked by a recent cable car into the Flegere sector. Adding variety, use the excellent Chamonix bus services to ski the trees in Les Houches or experience the legendary Grands Montets above Argentiere. Not forgetting of course, the stunning scenery surrounding the Vallee Blanche (guide strongly recommended).

Ski: Chamonix is one of the world's most amazing ski and board areas. A number of areas are specifically designed for children or adults on their first snow experience. As you gain confidence Le Tour beckons with lots of gentle blue runs. However, for intermediates and above the valley becomes paradise. Le Tour is the most varied with a mixture of reds and blues - sun soaked runs heading down to Le Tour and with tree lined shelter down into Vallorcine. Brevent-Flegere is the largest area - you could easily spend your entire stay here exploring its long (and in one case very steep!) runs. Masses of 'in-between-the piste' riding makes fresh tracks accessible - but remain aware that ANY off piste skiing requires avalanche awareness. If you're happy off-piste then you should hire a guide and ski the Vallee Blanche at least once in your life! For good riders, real challenges lie above Argentiere in the steep, narrow, often bumpy runs of the fabled Grands Montets. Awesome!

The apartment was very well maintained, clean and I would recommend this apartment for families, we took our 6 month old and she loved it!
Easy to find and 1 minute walk from Brevent ski-lift, close to town for all the restaurants. We stayed in l'Ibex and fitted 5 of us no problems.

Superb apartments in a great location

6 of us hired 2 of these lovely apartments for our 2008 ski trp. We had a great time and the apartments proved to be a great find. Close to the ski lift (a 5 minute walk away in ski boots!!) and less than 5 minutes downhill walk to the town centre for Apres ski.

The apartments are superbly decked out in modern style.

We had a catered meal one evening and our host Alan did a great job.
