The apartment is situated so that skiing for all ability levels could not be more convenient - several Pistes and lifts go straight by the door.
For beginners and children, free nursery slopes and lifts operate near the central square.
For the intermediates, La Plagne is renown for its miles and miles of wide open 'motorway' pistes.
For the more adventurous and advanced, the black runs around the glacier are a must as are the vast expanses of off piste areas (all serviced by a lift at some point).
For snowboarders, there is a purpose built border cross course and a world championship half pipe (both free).

Ski:
La Plagne is the largest single resort ski area in the world. It has well over 200km of piste, 114 ski lifts and almost limitless off piste (including the famous 15km non pisted decent from the glacier to Montchavin - dropping 6000ft vertically!). It is also possible to ski to Les Arcs, which along with Val d'Isere and the 3 Valleys is included in the lift pass.
