In the Apartment:
Linen is included and consists of 2 sheets and a pillowcase per person and a tea towel per apartment. This is collectable from reception on arrival and blankets are provided in each apartment. Towels are not included but can be rented locally at a cost of €7 per person per week. End of the stay cleaning is also included in the price (excpect the kitchen area and washing up). Baby cots can be pre-booked in most residences( €14 per week, payable in resort )and includes a cot or bed rail, sheets and a baby chair. Electric socket guards, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, vacuum cleaners( subject to availability) are all available to borrow from reception.
Les Coches:
A compact and friendly village, Les Coches is situated in a peaceful location, surrounded by trees in the La Plagne ski area. Les Coches is a traditional Savoyard village with plenty of charm and the added benefit of being located at the Paradiski link the Vanoise Express.
La Grande Plagne
La Plagne has a wide and varied ski area with many kilometres of easy blue runs combined with the more challenging terrain of the Roche de Mio and surrounding off-piste.
The recent link with Les Arcs has created the Paradiski, offering a vast skiable domain that is hard to rival. Comprising 10 inter-linked villages, La Plagne offers a vast range of accommodation to suit everyone's individual requirements.
Other Facilities / Facilities for Children:
Non-skiing activities are diverse and include a natural ice skating rink, cinema, pub-bars and one discotheque for nightlife, snowshoeing and walking excursions with guides.
Families are well catered for as the village has its own nursery for children from 6 months and ski lessons are offered for children over 3 years old.
Ski:
Skiers have the option of connecting up to the main ski area of La Plagne or enjoying the wooded slopes of Les Coches where the trees act as a safeguard against bad visibility and the snow cannons help to maintain the snow quality. As the Vanoise Express is located just above Les Coches, skiers also have quick access to Les Arcs. For the adventurous there is a boardpark in nearby Montchavin.
