150 metres from nearest ski lift, 100 metres from nearest piste. Central to the village, but in a quiet area. The large terrace is fully enclosed to waist height, and is ideal for small children in summer. There is a connected balcony, with a gate from the terrace. The apartment has been independently audited for child safety, and a full range of baby and toddler equipment is provided. Easy access to all Chamonix valley ski areas, Megeve, St. Gervais, Les Contamines, Flaine, Courmayeur, Aosta Valley, etc. Finished to a very high standard and comprehensively equipped. Sleeps up to 8 in bedrooms (one double, one twin/double, one room with twin bunk, single, and pullout single). The lounge has a convertible double sofa/bed, and a second sofa is a full size single. Bed linen included in price. Catering, shopping and babysitting services by arrangement with English-speaking local agents. There is a secure, allocated, underground parking space. Long term/seasonal rentals are welcome

Notes: The large, solidly-fenced terrace, raised one level from the building entrance, is fully decked and ideal for toddlers in the Summer. It does not get too much direct sun, so small ones can play safely while adults use the apartment and separate balcony. The master bedroom has french doors opening onto the terrace, so tired parents can watch over the little ones from their bed! Child safety has been independently audited, and the apartment is equipped with relevant safety features for young children, and also has baby/toddler equipment such as high chairs, cot/playpen, steriliser, bed guard, etc.

We booked this apartment having spent many holidays in the Chamonix area. The Apartment was spacious and as there were only 4 of us gave us all our own space. The external space was fantastic. My husband and father spent many evenings playing with their cameras at the extraordinary views from the terraces. It was my fathers first visit to the Chamonix valley and he now understands wht we keep on returning for more. With a car it is very easy to get around, although one day when the boys went away to do some serious climbing my father and I ventured on the bus to Chamonix. I have to say they were excellent and very cheap. The facilities within Les Houches were perfectly adequate, with two supermarkets a number of bakers and shops and numerous restuarants.

The house was extremely well equipped, can't think on anything not provided.
Holiday was very successfull

Thank you Keith for the use of your great apartment. We were all very happy by the size of the place, for 8 men we had no problems. It's location to the lifts is exellent, also the town has some great places to eat.If you fancy a good meal or some light eating with wine, Les Houches will cover it. Once again thank you and hopefully see you next year.

Spacious, well laid out accomodation

Great base for the ski area of Les Houches as its so handy for the cable car. Virtually skied to the door and it was late March when we stayed. Good design - spacious living area, big table, good kitchen facilities. Three generations of our family stayed, ranging from 1 to 60 years and it met our needs perfectly! If you want to ski in Chamonix mainly rather than Les Houches it would be worth hiring a car as the bus by that late in the season was once an hour and required a change to get to some Chamonix lifts (a bit tiring carrying skis/board etc) Loved the Les Houches ski area.
Owner's Response: Thanks - yes, a car is useful. Apparently there is going to be some change in winter bus arrangements to provide a more focussed "end to end" ski bus for the whole valley.

Booked this accom purely for the ski-ing at les houches for my 2 six year old nieces i,e not far from ski lift.
For my family of experienced skiiers( Teresa my wife 2 sons and myself, 12 seasons of skiing) we wanted to venture on the Full Chamonix unlimited pass.

We got all that plus a excellent appartment, we were a party of 4 adults, 2 lads aged 17 & 16 and 2 little girls aged 6 and the appartment was well equipped to house all of us. We ALL thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would, and certainly have recommended the appartment for any size of party upto 9 persons.
