The apartment is just 50ms from the nearest lift, a cable car, open in summer and winter. The ski area in Les Houches is 'family friendly', the rest of the Chamonix Valley is easily accessible by bus or car, and the bus stop is at the cable car, at 50ms. The ski areas of Chamonix are world famous, with something for everyone. In summer Mont blanc is stunning, and cycling, walking and paraponting are wonderful! The apartment is fitted to a high standard, with traditional furnishings, high quality china and equipment, dishwasher and large fridge. Linen is provided. There will be wine and beer too! Games and a CD player are provided. The area is 50 sq ms, with a south-facing sheltered garden area. In the summer outdoor furniture and a bbq are provided. Les Houches has a selection of good restaurants, with several just a short walk away. There are numerous bars and 2 supermarkets.

Les Houches is a small village, still largely farming, just 10 mins drive from Chamonix town.It is easily accessed, just 50 mins drive from Geneva airport, 15 mins from St Gervais station. From Les Houches a large number of ski areas can be accessed, including Megeve, Chamonix, St Gervais, Les Contamines and a little farther away the Portes du Soliel.

we've stayed here a couple of times. the apartment is easy to get to from geneva, really comfortable, and ideally placed for skiing in les houches or around chamonix (it does help to have a car). jackie was really helpful with all the arrangements. definitely recommended!

We stayed in the apartment in the summer and found it an excellent base, Jackie could'nt have been more helpfull.
The village is friendly with a comprehensive range shops, bars and a good choice of food within easy walking distance.
We look forward to our next stay and have recommended Jackie to friends.
