Proximity of Ski Lifts:
The apartment is about a 7 minute walk to the main Chamois ski lift in the village centre and is about 3 minutes from the central bus station. Free ski buses go to all the major bottom lifts at Jaillet, Rochebrune, Mont Arbois, Cote 2000 and Rochebrune. It is possible to walk to the lift at Jaillet in 5 minutes and there is a ski school for toddlers there. If you have a car you can take it and park free at Pricesse, Mont Arbois, Cote 2000 and Rochebrune.
There is a good ski hire shop not far from the Palais des Sports on the way to Jaillet where there is also an excellent butcher and bakery.
February 2009 - Rental Periods:
Most properties are only available from Saturday to Saturday. Air fares are most expensive on Saturdays and traveling is more difficult. In order to help with these problems, the rental period could start on another day in return for an additional charge.

Ski:
The skiing area 'Evasion Mont Blanc' is especially appreciated for its variety of ski runs with their unique viewsalong with the challenging terrains with slopes of from 1113 to 2350 meters. Megeve, associated with Combloux, Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas and the Contamines make up a total skiing area of 450 km and 117 ski lifts. Equipped with 160 snow canons it guarantees the perfect skiing conditions.
