The lounge and terrace overlook the pistes and mountain peaks and the rustic style dining area is wonderful for evening dining

Notes to the rental rates

• Rates are fully inclusive. Beds made up for your arrival, fresh towels, towelling robes, Molton Brown toiletries, provided . A full clean before and after your stay. WiFi broadband connection, phone for local and emergency calls. To reserve your stay a £300 security deposit is payable, this is refunded at the end of your stay. Full payment is due 2 months before your holiday. Payment by UK£ or euro cheque of credit card via Pay Pal.

Winter non ski activities

If skiing isn't your thing, there is still plenty to do apart from look at the 'winter wonderland' scenery. Try husky sled riding, snow shoe walking or enjoy one of the beauty spas in Méribel Town. Méribel has an indoor swimming pool, ice rink, bowling alley and rock climbing wall.. For mountain top lunches & walks get a walkers pass and enjoy a gondola ride to the peaks. For snow shoe walkers you can hire a French or British guide to help you enjoy walks through the woods off the beaten track, even staying overnight in remote mountain refuges.

Summer mountain activities

Apart from enjoying the wonderful warm and sunny summers just looking at the stunning scenery, there is a huge range of activities for all ages to keep all the family happy. Tiny tots: enjoy the British or French crèche, but there is also a tiny tots mini adventure park at Méribel Town centre. Teenagers & adults. masses to do.. Adventure park, archery, white river rafting, canyoning, canoeing, Via Ferrata, mountain biking, rock climbing, ice skating, bowling, hiking, tennis, horse riding, fishing, paragliding, swimming in either the indoor pool or better still, crystal clear lakes. Or just sunbath and relax in the deckchairs on the apartments terrace and in the private garden, surrounded by the panoramic views of the mountains GOLFERS: Méribel has a world class 18 hole golf course open from May - October, just 10 minutes drive from the chalet... you can even walk back from a superb restaurant by the course.

Skiing Information:

Méribel Village is in the centre of Les Trois Vallées. The largest ski area in the world. You can choose to stay in the Méribel Valley which has 94 miles of groomed pistes and a snow board fun park. Or you can easily ski to the Courchevel valleys of 1850, 1650 1550 & 1350 & La Tania. Plus by skiing over the ridge at Mottaret, just above Méribel, you will be in the Val Thorens valley. Linked to this now is the 4th valley, Orelle. The whole area has over 200 linked lifts and 600kms of pistes. The skiing is suitable for all grades and snow sure from mid December to the end of April. Range is 1100m - 3100m. Lifts open 9 Dec'06 & close 29 April'07. For boarders Courchevel 1850 also has a Fun Park. For non skiers, please see the Non skier section. There is a good choice of both English speaking and French ski & snow boarder schools for all ages and grades, plus ski guides can be hired for the more adventurous.
