Our apartment is a cosy, comfortable south-facing apartment with a beautiful traditional pine interior, large south-facing terrace and uninterrupted mountain views. Fantastic central location in the main part of Meribel, 5 minutes walk from the piste leading to Chaudanne. All resort facilites are close by with the start of the main shopping area just a 2 minutes walk away. Super mountain sports resort in summer. Meribel tourist office approved - highest category.

Fantastic skiing in winter and superb activity summer holidays. Resort facilities in winter: Meribel is situated at 1,600 metres in the middle of the world famous 3 Valleys skiing area on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. . There are over 600 kilometres of pistes serviced by around 200 lifts. Skiing rises to over 3300 metres. For après ski there are many pubs, clubs and restaurants, a swimming pool, skating rink and a bowling alley. There are a number of ski schools and crêches available for children from around 6 month upward.

Meribel in summer is a fabulous activity destination. As well as a lively village with a great swimming pool with flume, the summer mountain activities are right on the doorstep - mountain biking, paragliding, hiking - as well as a great children's club. For golfers, there is a fantastic 18 hole course and driving range.

Golf Details: Golf in Meribel is best described as awesome. The 18 hole, par 70, 5,370m course set on the mountain side is open from May to September. The surroundings are beautiful and the views spectacular. The walk around also prevents a reasonable challenge to the fittest golfer although buggies are available for hire. The course is about 7 minutes drive from the apartment. Also within one hour's drive are the golf courses at Couchevel 1850, and Lake Annecy. Both are also beautiful courses.

Skiing Information:

This apartment is ideally located in the original and main Meribel ski resort. The main ski lifts, linking Meribel with the rest of the Trois Vallees area are only a few minutes away. The centre of the village with shops and apres-ski are just as close but the location of the apartment is quiet with uninterrupted views from the southfacing terrace out over the valley. Walking times from apartment: bakery - 5 mins, grocer - 2 mins, ski shop - 2 mins, local wine bar - 2 mins.
