Our apartment, Le Genevrier 4 is a cosy, south facing apartment, with a large south and west facing terrace and uninterrupted mountain views. Fantastic central location in Meribel, 3 minutes walk from the piste to Chaudanne. 80m walk to access ski run down to Chaudanne lift area, or 100m walk down to post office to access run next to the Pub. Also free bus service to Chaudanne area, 50m walk from apartment. Ski locker and garage space available

In summer:: The area offers many beautiful trails and the summer uplift allows rapid access to the heights for walking or mountain biking. The resort has a superb golf course and also horse riding, river rafting, tennis, fishing, a swimming poolwith flume, ice skating and paragliding. Activity based programmes are organised for children from five years upwards Easily within driving distance for day visits is Lake Annecy and the neighbouring valleys of this beautiful area of the Alps. Nearest airports: Lyon and Geneva (both 2 hours), Chambery (one hour). Train: The Eurostar from London (winter only) or TGV from Paris goes direct to Moutier (20 minutes by taxi).

Ski: Meribel is situated at 1,600 metres in the middle of the world famous 3 Valleys skiing area on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. Fantastic skiing in winter and superb activity summer holidays. There are over 600 kilometres of pistes serviced by around 200 lifts. Skiing rises to over 3300 metres. For après ski there are many pubs, clubs and restaurants, a swimming pool, skating rink and a bowling alley. There are a number of ski schools and crêches available for children from around 6 month upward.

Golf: Golf in Meribel is best described as awesome. The 18 hole, par 70, 5,370m course set on the mountin side is open from May to September. The surroundings are beautiful and the views spectacular. The walk around also prevents a reasonable challenge to the fittest golfer although buggies are available for hire. The course is about 7 minutes drive from the apartment. Also within one hour's drive are the golf courses at Couchevel 1850, and Lake Annecy. Both are also beautiful courses.
