More on the apartment ............: For your entertainment, there is a music centre, TV (capable of receiving French terrestrial and satellite channels), together with Video and DVD player. Other amenities include under floor heating to the hall, lounge, dining and kitchen areas and convection heaters to the bedrooms and bathroom. Huge domestic hot water tank. There is a spacious, private mezzanine floor area with twin beds and its own washbasin and shaver point. Garage parking, private ski locker and shared boot warmer. The apartment location in Ste Foy ......: The Owners' first floor apartment is one of five, forming a traditional chalet style residence in the Tarentaise region. Its location is very private and is in a small cul-de-sac next to the piste. There are 4 neighbouring chalet style residences of similar design. Within the residence, the Owners have a lockable garage with space for one car.

Local Arrangements ............: The Owners' local agent will arrange all the in-resort services, including key management, deposit monies and laundry and cleaning services. Linen and towels are provided. Childcare may be arranged.

Ski: Superbly situated in a quiet ski in, ski out location beside the piste, the luxury apartment with its stunning mountain views, private ski locker and shared ski boot warmer, is just 50 metres from the ski lift. The ESF ski school and nursery slope are right outside the door! Ste Foy has excellent skiing, between 1550 – 2610 metres and is a renowned powder paradise with virtually no lift queues. Shops, and restaurants are all within a few minutes walking distance. Ski boot and ski hire is available at several locations all within a few minutes walking distance. The well known resorts of Tignes, Val d’Isère, Les Arcs, La Rosière and La Plagne are all nearby (10 – 40 mins by car). The Ste Foy weekly adult lift pass normally provides an entitlement to reduced day passes at Espace Killy, Les Arcs and La Rosière.

Six of us (3 couples) spent a week at La Sassiere in March for a snowboarding trip. It is an extremely well equiped, roomy, clean and well looked after apartment. Perfect location next to the piste, just behind the ESF ski school and within a couple of minutes walk across the base of the ski area to the main part of Sainte Foy. Can be accessed by car and has parking, although you may need chains to get up the final 100m of road, still plenty of parking at the bottom of the hill (less than 2 mins walk) if the road is iced/snowed over.
The owners where very helpful with our booking and the many questions we had about Sainte Foy - which is a great little resort, no crowds like the main resorts and very easy access to the great off piste, which was our main reason for choosing to visit Sainte Foy.
We would thoroughly recommend booking this apartment!
